Junior Merlions Shine at GESS Tri-Friendly Meet

The Junior Merlions took a team of 40 swimmers to the GESS Tri Friendly meet alongside SJII, our third comeptition together for the year. The team returned with plenty of medals and many personal best times, with many of our younger Merlions racing externally for the first time and having a fantastic experience at the meet.

Special Shoutouts to our U10 gold medallists

Elias was our top performer of the meet, securing 3 individual Gold medals

Agnes – our youngest participant at just 7 years old – achieved an impressive 1 Gold and 2 Silvers.

Ziqi, competing for Merlions for the first time, had an outstanding debut with 1 Gold and 2 Silvers.

Ophelia D swam strongly in her age group, earning 2 Golds and 1 Silver.

Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity for the swimmers to gain valuable racing experience, build confidence, and showcase their hard work in training.

Strong Finish for Tanglin at ACSIS Gymnastics Championships

We had our final meet of the year over the weekend (9-10 May) at the ACSIS Championships –and what a perfect way to close out an incredible competitive season!

Tanglin once again fielded the largest team at the competition and showed strength not only in numbers, but also in energy, support, and performance throughout the competition.

From our youngest Year 2 gymnasts competing in Level 2, all the way through to WAG Level 5 and MAG Levels 1–3, Tanglin impressed across every level.

A huge congratulations to all our gymnasts and coaches on an outstanding meet and a fantastic season. We are so proud of everything you have achieved!

We’d also like to recognise a few standout performances across the levels, with several gymnasts winning multiple medals and showing exceptional consistency and dominance in their categories throughout the competition.
