Welcome from the Director of Sport Dave Radcliffe
Sport is an integral part of life at Tanglin, and each year our programme continues to grow, offering exciting opportunities for students to develop, compete, and excel. This year, students can look forward to new opportunities to compete internationally in London, South Korea, and Hong Kong. Our expanding Club programmes provide additional highquality coaching, while highlights such as the Crystal Palace Academy Coaching Camp and Adam Peaty Racing Clinics enable students to learn from high-performance coaches and inspiring role models. Our outstanding facilities provide first-class environments for learning, training, and competition. These include a leadingedge Athletic Development Gym with Physiotherapy Clinic, an Aquatics Centre with a 50m pool and an additional 25m pool, five multipurpose halls, a specialist Gymnastics Centre, climbing walls, and a World Rugby approved playing field. We highly value and actively promote the pursuit of excellence. Through our IMPACT Programme, we provide tailored support for students who aspire to reach the highest standards, enhancing both their learning and performance. Each year, many of our young athletes earn national representative honours and titles, while our teams continue to enjoy success both locally and across the region. We strive to develop the potential of every student through positive sporting experiences, with a programme that provides appropriate opportunities at every stage of development. From House Sport and recreational participation to inter-school leagues and international competition, students are encouraged to challenge themselves, fulfil their potential, and develop a lifelong love of sport and physical activity.
