he Resort is part of the Mkuzu River Catchment – a principal river of the West Usambara Mountain Range – which is lined-up with thick natural forest cover, farmlands and flat meadows along its banks. The scenic views and panoramic surroundings of steep hills, mountain peaks together with the cool and fresh air; entice hiking in the local villages and wandering in the forests, where you can watch birds, see multi-coloured chameleons, the beautiful black/white colobus monkeys (mbega) and enjoy the gushing water falls.

Accommodation consists of 13 self-contained rooms in a two-storey building. In addition, there are three en-suite family-size cottages, which are tastefully furnished and provide enhanced privacy and cozy atmosphere.

The Resort has a number of facilities and these include a sunset viewing tower, Executive Pub & Lounge – where you can play a variety of indoor games (e.g. billiards) and a spacious Camping Site – which is dotted with such structures like the traditional Shambala House, the Valley Bottom Garden Bridge and huge Banda, where bonfires can be lit and barbeques served.
