Highly efficient, convenient and time saving

Environmentally friendly and non-toxic solvent

Required as little as 5 μm thick FFPE sample

High yield and high quality nucleic acids

TANBead FFPE RNA Extraction Kit is used to isolate RNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Our magnetic-bead based technology and corresponding extractors provide automated, high-throughput and user-friendly extraction system. This kit is designed to perform the friendly deparaffinization process by using mineral oil to replace the common hazardous organic solvent, xylene. The isolated RNA can be applied to molecular analyses, like qPCR, PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS).

Figure 1. Comparison of RNA yield and purity of three FFPE RNA extraction kits.

The RNA yield of 62P was comparable to that of T-brand kit and higher than that of N-brand kit. As for nucleic acid purity, 62P exhibited a higher 260/230 ratio and a 260/280 greater than 1.9 compared to other commercial kits. This demonstrated that the FFPE tissue RNA extracted from 62P was high quality.

RNA concentration was mearsured by Qubit RNA HS assay kits with Qubit 4 fluorometer 260/280 and 260/230 ratio were mearsured by Nanodrop 2000c
