SMOKING SHELTERS FOR VARIOUS WORKPLACES
Our UK smoking shelters ensure your business complies with legislation governing the workplace around smoking on work premises.
On the 1st July 2007, the UK saw a new law come into force, the Health Act of 2006. This legislation made it illegal to smoke in public places and was implemented to reduce smoking rates and protect individuals in public places and the workplace from second-hand smoke.
Leading employers adopting new practices to accommodate the staff and visiting smokers or vapers. With the introduction of smoking shelters, non-smokers have been able to distance themselves from smokers, and there has been an overall reduction in smoke fumes in public areas. Shelters are a safe place for smokers to hang out without any concerns or complains.
