Like a fine wine, gin also exudes its own unique style and personality.
When gin is produced with a region in mind, you are enjoying the fruits and botanicals of that region. In the case of Heathcote Gin, our goal was to create a signature style and flavour that showcases not only the magic and beauty of what Heathcote has to offer, but to produce a ‘Spirit of the Region’ quite unlike any other.
When the opportunity presented itself to develop our own interpretation of a Shiraz Gin, it seemed logical to make a gin that showcases what Heathcote is typically known forproducing some of the finest shiraz wines Australia has to offer.
From the moment we tasted this gin, we knew it was something special.
It is our privilege to collaborate with some of Heathcote’s finest winemakers. In the case of our award-winning Heathcote Shiraz Reserve Gin, we are immensely proud of the finished product. Using a locally produced, 2018 vintage Heathcote shiraz wine, this gin is not only unique, but exceptional, as has been recognised with gold in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, China and (of course) Australia.
Our passion is gin and our mission is to produce a delicious product that not only maintains a standard of excellence for the gin drinker, but builds a loyal customer following for you.
Introducing the Heathcote Shiraz Reserve Gin
In collaboration with one of our favourite winemakers, the Heathcote Shiraz Reserve Gin is a work of local art.
The shiraz grapes come from selected blocks grown along the Mt Camel Range in regional Victoria.
The subtle use of oak has left room for the fruit to take centre stage and, when blended with our own Heathcote Gin, the palate enjoys a wonderful balance of plum, raspberry and black cherry notes.
With signature botanicals that include Australian native lemon myrtle and orange, the Shiraz Reserve Gin is a true reflection of the Heathcote region – a gin we are incredibly proud of, and which promises to deliver an unforgettable Heathcote Gin experience.
Pairs well with tonic, dry ginger ale, and citrus sodas. Also a great feature gin for cocktails
