When he hears the beep of his alarm, Itsy hops out of bed with a grin. “So many things to do and so little time,” Itsy said.

He had big plans for Christmas.

“Ready for Christmas, Itsy?” Itsy looked up from his list to see his favorite waitress at ALANA’S PLACE. “Almost!” he answered. Christmas was the most wonderful time of the year for Itsy and Bitsy.

Even though he had finished making his list, he still had some things to take care of before his Christmas party.

Downtown, fellow holiday shoppers wink and wave. Everyone is full of good cheer and there’s so much to see: beautiful window displays, decorations everywhere and lots of familiar, local faces.

Itsy visits his friends at ELLABY BOUTIQUE and picks up the perfect gifts for his mom and sisters.

to buy feed for Santa’s reindeer. He knew that soon they would be working extra long hours & they need to stay well fed. As he was leaving Pop’s, Itsy stepped on something slippery.

WHOA! As Itsy’s foot slipped on a banana peel, his gifts flew everywhere.

Even his Christmas tree was up in the air! “Ouch,” he exclaimed as he landed on the sidewalk with a thud. Itsy had chipped his front tooth.

Considering the morning he’s had Itsy decided it was a good time for a snack and he knew that his friends at LAKE MARTIN CREAMERY would make him feel all better.

Now that he was all fixed up, Itsy was ready to go car shopping and stopped to see his friends at FARMERS & MERCHANTS. Itsy had been carefully saving his money all year long, and he could not wait to visit.

Beth counted up Itsy’s change and handed him a crisp stack of bills. Now Itsy had the money he needed to buy the car of his dreams.

“I would really like something tasty to drink,” Itsy said as he left the bank. He knew that NIRVANA LATTE was right around the corner and their drinks always hit the spot.

Before Itsy could go car shopping he remembered that he had one more thing to do.

And that was to take Bitsy to WAYSIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL for his checkup and rabies vaccination.

Bitsy loves visiting Dr. Martin and the staff. He was always excited to see the other dogs in the office. Itsy knows that Bitsy is in good hands at Wayside Animal Hospital.

It was finally time for Itsy to visit his friends at KERLEY MOTOR COMPANY to buy his dream car.

It had been a very productive day but it was time for Itsy & Bitsy to rest. Tomorrow would be another busy day. Itsy was going to visit some local open houses and take Bitsy to the groomers.

It was bright & early to get the day started right, Itsy grabbed his favorite drink at

TALLAPOOSA NUTRITION. He always enjoys visiting everyone at Tallapoosa Nutrition & the drinks are yummy. Now it was time to meet his real estate agent.

When Itsy told SHERRY JOHNSTON what he was looking for in a home, her face lit up instantly. “Itsy,” she replied, “I think I have the perfect house for you!”

When they pulled into the driveway, Itsy knew right away this was the home for him.

He pictured the delicious Christmas dinner he would cook in the huge kitchen, his beautiful Christmas tree lit up in the living room and his family and friends gathered around the dining room table!

Itsy couldn’t wait for move-in day.

MAID IN AMERICA CLEANING SERVICES cleaned his new home, he and Bitsy thought about all of the new traditions they were going to create...Starting with Christmas!

After moving in Itsy called his friends at KELLEY HEATING & AIR to tune up the heater in his new home. They have the friendliest and most professional staff & Itsy always enjoys visiting with them.

What a day it had already been & now it was time to shop.

Itsy realized that he needed lots of new things to fill his new home! He knew just the place to go...SWEET PICK’INS. Kim & Itsy had been friends for a very long time & Itsy knew she had the best assortment of furniture around.

It was finally time to take Bitsy to Southern Star for her pre-Christmas Grooming. The staff at SOUTHERN

While Bitsy was at the groomers Itsy decided to visit all the wonderful children at

JACOB’S LADDER CREATIVE LEARNING CENTER. Itsy went

to Jacob’s Ladder when he was younger. He knows what a fantastic program they have.

LAKE LIFE NUTRITION to pick up drinks for the Christmas party that evening.

When Itsy and Bitsy arrived home they decorated their Christmas tree and prepared a Christmas feast.

As they sat down to eat Christmas dinner, Itsy & Bitsy were happy to be surrounded with all of his friends from the TALLAPOOSA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT. Itsy thought, “There really is no place like home for the holidays!” He felt blessed to be in a new home and he couldn’t wish for more!
