Glenn Hart is the founder of LinkedGlenn.com, which focuses on online commercial real estate networking, marketing, and business development consulting. Hart has chosen to go beyond the mark of his daily job by making a lasting difference as he actively integrates his clients and the community into community-building service projects and activities.

Hart’s philanthropic path was inspired by his father’s legacy. Growing up in Austin, Texas, his father worked as an area manager for McDonalds. In the early 1980s, his father helped found the Ronald McDonald House, which provides homes and life-improving services for children and families in need. Glenn followed in his father’s footsteps in his effort to turn his everyday job into an inspiring community-wide, service-focused legacy. As one example of Hart’s efforts, he organizes an annual Charity Sandcastle Contest on the shores of Lake Travis in Austin, Texas. He brings real estate industry teams together who compete in designing and building sandcastle sculptures on behalf of their chosen local non-profit charity. Teams’ $1000 entry fees are paid directly to the winning team’s local charity, totaling $10,000 in donations to the ACE Mentorship non-profit this year. This event raises funds for local charities and promotes community involvement and teamwork.

Another inspiring example of Hart’s philanthropic work is the Gala he hosted and chaired with his wife, LeAnna, in October of 2023 for The Zachary Cole Foundation. This foundation supports young adult leukemia patients who may not qualify for support from other charities. Hart’s inspirational energy, generous donation of time, and participation in the Gala blessed the lives of multiple families and individuals battling leukemia with financial aid while also raising community awareness. What if every business owner found ways to incorporate more significant service efforts into their business activities and their employees’ lives or involved their clients in ways to benefit society through charitable giving and activities jointly? Hart’s ability to enable his clients and network to provide a greater good is evidence of his priority to improve the community and individuals’ lives by harnessing the power of business.
