Join us for short stories, songs, bounce rhymes, some baby sign language, play time with other children, and the chance to share with other parents. Program is free and open to the public but registration is required for each month. Sign up each child separately please. STORY TIME

Come share short stories, fun songs, early literacy tips, and kindergarten readiness skills. Program is free and open to the public but registration is required for each month. Would your child like a patient, attentive friend to read to? Read to a Dog provides an opportunity for your child to read to registered therapy dogs in a relaxed atmosphere. The dogs sit calmly and quietly for a story. Children can practice reading out loud without fear of judgement. It’s a great way for children to gain confidence in their reading. Therapy Dog teams are registered/certified by Alliance of Therapy Dogs and Pet Partners. No registration necessary. NOON YEAR’S EVE

Young children and their families are invited to celebrate New Year’s early at noon on Friday, December 30. We will have stories activities, games, and make a loud noise after a countdown to noon. ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE ESCAPE ROOM

Pre-registration required at www.pvlib.net/teens OR yavapai.events Can you escape in time and survive the zombie apocalypse? You will have 45 minutes to save the world. The clock is ticking. You will need to work as a team, decipher the clues, and have fun! Note: there are two timeslots to choose from. VIRTUAL REALITY: AN IMMERSIVE GAMING & CAREER EXPLORATION EXPERIENCE

Pre-registration required at www.pvlib.net/teens OR yavapai.events Explore various careers with virtual reality using the Oculus Quest 2. Choose from several apps to explore multiple careers from physics to a NASA astronaut. You can also play a fun game of Beatsaber. There are limited 30-minute time slots available. TEEN CAFÉ: WINTER PARTY

THE ROCKIN’ UKES

Prescott Valley Public Library is hosting The Rockin’ Ukes. Join us on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, at the Prescott Valley Public Library for a performance by the Rockin’ Ukes. The Rockin’ Ukes is a ukulele-centric band that includes the bass, guitar, drums, and autoharp. This is a winter show and music will be focused on Christmas and holiday songs, some favorites and fun new songs. They will take the stage at 5:00 and have you tapping your toes and singing along before the end. The program is FREE and suitable for all ages.
