Highlights Ruim een jaar geleden kwam het bordspel 360 Verhalen uit. Inmiddels hebben we ook een Engelse en een Duitse versie uitgebracht, en heeft het Nederlandse spel een tweede druk gekregen. 360 Verhalen heeft mij en mijn team de mooiste ontmoetingen gegeven, een aantal van de highlights deel ik graag met je. A little over a year ago the 360 Stories board game was released. In the meantime we launched an English and German version, and we released the “Second Edition” of the Dutch game. 360 Stories has given me and my team the most beautiful encounters, I’d like to share a few of the highlights.

Lancering
360 Verhalen werd feestelijk gelanceerd in Restaurant Vork en Mes, Vork & Mes, Hoofddorp waar eigenaar Jonathan Karpathios 31 oktober 2014 het eerste exemplaar in ontvangst nam. Goed eten, een prachtige ambiance en fijn gezelschap zijn dé ingrediënten voor een perfecte ‘Storynight’.
360 Stories was launched in Restaurant Vork en Mes, where owner Jonathan Karpathios received the very first copy. Good food, a beautiful atmosphere and good company are THE ingredients for a perfect ‘Storynight’.

Tijdens een 360 Stories café worden gasten door het bordspel uitgedaagd een écht persoonlijk verhaal te vertellen. Het bord bepaalt het gespreksonderwerp dus niemand weet van te voren welk verhaal wordt verteld. En van het ene verhaal komt het andere… Zo hoor je nog eens nieuwe dingen! Playing the game at a 360 Stories café challenges people to tell a real personal story. The board decides the subject so no one knows up front which story will be told. And one story leads to the next… A great way to hear new tales!

Senioren beschikken over een schat aan verhalen. 360 Verhalen is een prachtig middel om jong en oud met elkaar in gesprek te brengen, of om seniore bewoners onderling bijzondere verhalen uit te laten wisselen. Senior citizens possess a wealth of stories. 360 Stories is an enticing tool to let young and old talk to each other, or to let senior citizens share these extraordinary stories among themselves.
Kerst
Verse Aarde, ‘t Waar 26 december 2014 In restaurant Verse Aarde genoten we van een echt ‘feel good’ kerstfeest. Eigenares en kokkin Sofie van Rhijn bereidde verfijnde plantaardige gerechten, er viel een prachtige nieuwe expositie LICHT te bewonderen en we voerden goede gesprekken met bekende en onbekende disgenoten, aan de hand van 360 Verhalen. De unieke keuken van Verse Aarde, de prettige locatie en de ontspannen manier om bijzondere gesprekken aan te gaan, maakten van deze tweede Kerstdag een onvergetelijke ervaring! In Restaurant Verse Aarde (Fresh Earth) we enjoyed a true ‘feel good’ Christmas celebration. Owner and cook Sofie van Rhijn prepared exquisite vegan dishes, one could enjoy the beautiful new exposition LICHT (LIGHT) and we had some nice conversations with both known and unknown dinner guests, using 360 Stories. The truly unique kitchen of Verse Aarde, the nice location and the easy way to engage in good conversations made this Boxing Day leave an unforgettable impression.
Verzoendag
Bijlmer Parktheater, Amsterdam 7 maart 2015 De Verzoendag is een initiatief van mediator Ingemar Francisca, die mensen oproept om over hun gevoelens van wrok heen te stappen en vrede te sluiten met elkaar, of met zichzelf. Het evenement vond plaats in het Bijlmertheater in Amsterdam. Ik heb een verhaal verteld over mijn moeder, en hoe zij van invloed is geweest op het uitbrengen van 360 Verhalen. In 2017 vindt de volgende Verzoendag plaats. The Verzoendag (Reconciliation Day) is an initiative created by mediator Ingemar Francisca, urging people to overcome their feelings of grudge, and make peace with one another, or with themselves. This event took place in the Bijlmer theatre in Amsterdam. I told a story about my mother and her influence on the creation of 360 Stories. The next edition of the Verzoendag will take place in 2017.
Progressive Alliance

De Progressive Alliance is een wereldwijd netwerk van sociaaldemocratische en progressieve politieke partijen. Als vertegenwoordigers van onze stichting Awearness Fashion waren Jeannette Ooink uitgenodigd bij te dragen aan de conferentie over ‘Decent Work & Gender Equality’. Een mooie gelegenheid om mevrouw Lilianne Ploumen, Minister voor Buitenlandse Handel en Ontwikkelingssamenwerking, 360 Verhalen cadeau te doen. The Progressive Alliance is a global network of social democratic and progressive political parties. Being the representatives of the Awearness Fashion Foundation, Jeannette Ooink and I were invited to contribute to the ‘Decent Work & Gender Equality’ conference. A perfect occasion to present Mrs. Lilianne Ploumen, minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, with 360 Stories.
Yoga beurs
Eindhoven 13-14 juni 2015
Tijdens de Yoga beurs in Eindhoven complimenteerden de Indiase musici en martial arts artists ‘The Blue Lions’ ons met 360 Verhalen. Een grote eer! Tijdens het optreden van The Blue Lions leerde ik de geweldig lieve Lady Aïda kennen, en gedurende de vele rondjes 360 Verhalen spelen hoorden we de wonderlijkste verhalen van mensen. During the Yoga exposition in Eindhoven the Indian musicians and martial arts artists ‘The Blue Lions’ gave their compliments towards us about 360 Stories. A great honor! While The Blue Lions performed I got to know the incredibly sweet Lady Aïda and during countless rounds of 360 Stories we heard amazing stories.
Boekhandel wagner

Boekhandel Wagner is één van de 360 Verhalen verkooppunten en organiseert tal van interessante bijeenkomsten in haar zaak. De schrijver Ish Ait Hamou, auteur van de succesvolle romans Hard Hart en Céline, speelde er 360 Verhalen. Bookshop Wagner is one of the points of sale for 360 Stories and organizes a number of interesting gatherings in their store. The writer Ish Ait Hamou, author of the successful novels Hard Hart and Céline, played 360 Stories in Wagner.
dag van de Gelderse traditie
Openluchtmuseum, Arnhem 28 juni 2015
De ‘Dag van de Gelderse Traditie’ is een dag waarop Gelderse tradities en gebruiken beleefd kunnen worden. In het prachtige Openluchtmuseum Arnhem sloeg 360 Verhalen de brug tussen ‘Er was eens’ en ‘Ik was eens…’ On the ‘Dag van de Gelderse Traditie’ traditions and customs from Gelderland can be experienced. In the beautiful Openluchtmuseum, 360 Stories bridged between ‘Once upon a time’ and ‘Once upon my time…’
Pop up Summer school

Een goed verhaal vertel je vanuit je hart. Pas als je in de huid kruipt van zowel de held(en) in je verhaal, als je toehoorders, weet je een verhaal te vertellen dat mensen beweegt. Tijdens de Storytellingdag, onderdeel van de Pop Up Summer School, zorgde een ronde 360 Verhalen spelen voor het losmaken van de eigen verhalen van deelnemers.
A good story is told from the heart. It’s not until you have affinity with both the hero of your story, and the listeners, before you can tell a story that moves people. During the Storytelling day, part of the Pop Up Summer School, a round of 360 Stories brought about the participants’ personal stories.

Willem de ridder Verhalen café
Verse Aarde, ‘t Waar 18 juli 2015
Willem de Ridder is radiomaker, verhalenverteller, tijdschriftenmaker, internationaal bekend Fluxus-kunstenaar en ‘spiegeloog’. In restaurant Verse Aarde, in het Groningse plaatsje ’t Waar bij galerie Waarkunst, verzorgde hij een voordracht Spiegelogie, liet hij zich interviewen in het 360 Verhalencafé en vertelde hij een bijzonder Sprookje. Op verscheidene plekken in de idyllische tuin werden vele heerlijke amuses en drankjes uitgeserveerd en kwamen ook de eigen verhalen los tijdens het spelen van het 360 Verhalen bordspel.
Willem de Ridder is a radio maker, storyteller, magazine maker, internationally renowned Fluxusartist and ‘spiegeloog’. In Restaurant Verse Aarde (Fresh Earth), he gave a “Spiegelogie” workshop, was interviewed in the 360 Stories café and told a remarkable fairytale. Throughout the idyllic garden several delicious appetizers and drinks were served and 360 Stories was played.
Spiel 2015
Essen 8 - 11 oktober 2015 Spiel Essen, het moment van de waarheid‌ Tijdens de grootste internationale spellenbeurs van de wereld presenteerden wij 360 Verhalen, met de Duitse en Engelstalige demoversies. De reacties van bezoekers, professionals en pers waren enorm positief, waarna we besloten de Engelse en Duitse versie uit te gaan brengen. Spiel Essen, the moment of truth‌ During the biggest international gaming expo of the world, we presented 360 Stories, including the German and English demo versions. The response of visitors, professionals and the press was overwhelmingly positive, after which we decided to release the German and English edition

KerstDiner met ouderen
Careyn Rosendael, Utrecht 22-12 2015
Jaarbeurs, Utrecht Cares en buurtinitiatief Oké Nu! organiseerden een kerstdiner voor eenzame ouderen. Het 360 Stories team wisselde verhalen uit met de bezoekers en vrijwilligers. Buurtinitiatief Oké Nu! In Overvecht is opgericht door een aantal actieve bewoners van deze multiculturele wijk in Utrecht. Overvecht is een wijk met problemen; overlast, armoede, gezondheidsproblematiek en eenzaamheid. Dit buurtinitiatief probeert wijkbewoners met elkaar te verbinden, ongeacht hoe oud iemand is en wat hun persoonlijke situaties zijn. Jaarbeurs, Utrecht Cares and neighborhood initiative Oké Nu! organized a Christmas dinner for lonely seniors. The 360 Stories team exchange stories with the visitors and volunteers. Neighborhood initiative Oké Nu! in Overvecht was founded by several engaged residents of this multicultural area in Utrecht. Overvecht is a neighborhood with problems; crime, poverty, health issues and loneliness. This initiative tries to connect people from the area, regardless of age and personal situation.
360 STORIES Thanks to our fabulous designer Hanneke van de Pol, the very cooperative gameproducer NSF Games, producer of the spinner Metron, our fulfilment center De Pakjesfabriek, the people who helped me with the translations, the printwork and the websites and lots of other things, WE MADE IT. Just in time for the holiday season, our new Dutch, English and German game hit the market. Also, of course, huge thanks to our customers; I’m so happy that you really like 360 Stories!

‘We are One’ events 360 STORIES ‘We are One’events meet societies’ heartfelt need for connection with ‘the others’; everyone with a different background, skincolor, sexual orientation, religion, social status than yourself. We sincerely believe – and found it scientifically proven- that meeting other people, sharing food & stories, breeds understanding and companionship. ‘Them and us’ becomes WE. 360 STORIES brings people together and opens conversations on topics that do not often come to the table. Because they are sensitive, or because they are so commonplace that you almost forget. We organize 360 STORIES cafés and our ‘We are One’ events within different places; in institutions for the elderly, homeless shelters, in addiction care institutions, jail, at schools, community centers .... Our mission is to share personal stories from people of diverse backgrounds to create more understanding and respect for each other.

We are One events are non-profit. We ask visitors to buy a ‘One-for-One’ ticket: a ticket for themselves and one for a person that likes to attend, but can’t afford to pay for a ticket. (We work together with several charity organizations for this). The tickets are meant to cover costs like food, drinks, location and artists (because it’s not fair to ask them to work for nothing). Our organization chips in as well of course, for every 360 STORIES board game sold, we save € 1,- to contribute to the We are One events. Do you want to organize an event with us? Please contact us!
