Eligible Employees
All full-time regular TAKTL employees are eligible for TAKTL’s employee benefit package.
Eligible Dependents
If you are eligible for our benefits, then your dependents are too. In general, eligible dependents include your spouse and children up to age 26. If your child is mentally or physically disabled, coverage may continue beyond age 26 once proof of the ongoing disability is provided. Children may include natural, adopted, step-children and children obtained through court-appointed legal guardianship.
When Coverage Begins
Coverage for newly hired employees begins after 90 days of continuous full-time employment for medical, dental, vision, life, and voluntary benefits. Eligibility to participate in the 401k retirement saving's plan also begins after 90 days of employment. After one year of employment, you will be eligible for our disability coverage.
The benefit enrollment period for new employees begins 30 days prior to the coverage effective date and will end 30 days after the coverage effective date. If enrollment does not occur within the 30 days of intended effective date, the employee will be ineligible for benefits until the next open enrollment period. All elections for new and current employees are in effect for the entire plan year and can only be changed during open enrollment, except in the event you experience a family qualifying event.
Qualifying Life Event
A qualifying life event is a change in your personal life that may impact your eligibility or dependent’s eligibility for benefits. Examples of some qualifying life events include:
• Change of legal marital status
(i.e. marriage, divorce, death of spouse, legal separation)
• Change in number of dependents
(i.e. birth, adoption, death of dependent, ineligibility due to age)
• Change in employment or job status
(i.e. spouse loses job, etc.)
If such a change occurs, you must make the changes to your benefits within 30 days of the event date. Documentation will be required to verify your change of status. Failure to request a change of status within 30 days of the event may result in you having to wait until the next open enrollment period to make your change.

The EAP is a confidential counseling and referral service available to you and your family members at no cost. It is offered through through ComPsych and is offered as part of your disability coverages with Principal. The EAP offers 24/7 telephone access to licensed professionals who can help with concerns regarding marriage and relationships, depression, anxiety, stress, grief, substance abuse, child care, elder care, work-related issues, and much more. The EAP may refer you to a local counselor who can address your concerns in person.

EMPLOYEES
The Moderna Science Center opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2023. Planned as the new headquarters for Moderna, this prominent project was one of three TAKTL-clad buildings in the laboratory center of Cambridge.

Gansevoort Peninsula Hudson River Park is located in NYC and was completed in 2023. TAKTL created custom corrugated and perforated panels in Titanium 63.

Southern Utah Museum of Art is located in Cedar City, Utah, and was completed in 2016. This project features bright white Arbos-textured panels in a vertical orientation with custom cuts along a curving roofline.
University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was completed in 2019. It features large prefabricated facade units with TAKTL panels designed using custom KORSA aggregates.
30 Warren is a luxury condominium located in Manhattan, completed in 2018. It features a custom texture made from corrugated cardboard, which changes orientations at each setback to create varying light and shadow effects.
The cutting edge Applied Research Center at Florida Polytechnic University opened in 2022. With complex facade geometry and an array of grooved and perforated panels, this project shows off TAKTL’s unique manufacturing capabilities and precision mold-making technology.
329 Broadway is located in Brooklyn, NY, and was completed in 2021. A custom rib pattern moving across a multi-angled facade makes this new multifamily residential building stand out from Brooklyn’s historic architecture.

Gravity 2.0 is in Columbus Ohio, is Reeds texture in Custom Gold and Custom Black. The TAKTL panels in combination with the clients added muralistic rainbow palette, TAKTL panels are a distinguished and colorful landmark in the city.

Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon, is the largest installation of TAKTL’s Shadows texture in the country. With their custom red color and unique linear texture, the TAKTL panels are the main feature of this new campus building.
The Gilbert Street Mixed-Use Development, completed in 2022, uses Arbos panels in a custom terracotta color to brighten downtown Blacksburg, Virginia. Class A office space, retail, and dining are now available to residents and students in the community.
