It is a privilege to extend my congratulations to the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Society for once again hosting the 2025 Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival.
Throughout the years, Taiwanese Canadians have made significant contributions across many fields, leaving a lasting impact on both Canada and Taiwan. I have visited Taiwan three times, and I am continually inspired by the remarkable achievements of the Taiwanese people.
The Taiwanese Canadian community has long been recognized for its strong belief in freedom, democracy, and human rights. By upholding these principles, you have not only enriched the cultural tapestry of Canada but have also become a source of inspiration for many. The economic contributions of Taiwanese Canadian entrepreneurs have also greatly enriched Canada.
It is these values that we share that make celebrating events such as these, as well as the recent proclamation of Taiwanese Canadian Heritage Month so important.
Wishing all performers, organizers, and attendees a successful and inspiring 2025 Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival.
Sincerely,
Garnett Genuis Member of Parliament
