TAITÙ INTERPRETATION Since the 1990s, the Mediterranean Diet has been transposed by TAITÙ into a new dimension: the one of design. The Dieta Mediterranea Collection is inspired by iconic decorations of the food pyramid elements and realised on a particularly valuable porcelain distinguished by the unmistakable “rusticated” effect, which takes up the spontaneity and simplicity of nature, in all its manifestations. Key elements of the success of TAITÙ’s best-selling Collection, the patchiness and decorations are now the protagonists of a new Mediterranean Diet. Il vasto progetto, che comprende tre diverse Collezioni, prende avvio con il tema delle verdure tipicamente italiane, l’alfabeto della nostra cultura alimentare. I decori danno vita, grazie a una tecnica pittorica di grande realismo, a un’esplosione di insalate, erbette, peperoncini e olive. Il tutto in simbiosi con l’aspetto materico e irregolare della porcellana, le cui forme sono studiate ad hoc per accogliere e presentare in tavola i cibi tipici della Dieta Mediterranea.

This wide project, including three different Collections, is going to start with the theme of typically Italian vegetables, as the alphabet of our food culture. Here, then, the decorations give life, thanks to a pictorial technique of great realism, to an explosion of salads, herbs, chillies and olives. All in perfect symbiosis with the material and uneven aspect of porcelain – whose shapes are specifically designed to set the table with the typical ingredients of the Mediterranean Diet.

It is only the colors of vegetables that we find in the Mediterranean Diet Vegetables Collection: from green to bright burgundy salads, to yellow, red, green shades of chillies, to the thousand colors of chard, to arrive at the intense shades of green of olives, with a common denominator: the liveliness, authenticity and joy of life of the colors of NATURE.
