A Geometric Study presents a series of designs inspired by 20th century minimalist artists whose central focus was on simple geometric forms. Specifically, the notion of reducing art down to its most basic shape and exploring that shape in a myriad of variations. Each design follows that approach and explores shape in one of three different ways: overlapping cubes, triangle rhythm and intersecting planes. The series utilizes a palette of soft neutrals in mostly cool tones, contrasted with an occasional accent for depth. Along with colour, the creative use of texture artisanal tufting techniques capture dimensionality in a subtle and sophisticated way.
