Certified Training Centres was launched in partnership with FVC in May this year to help tackle this issue and benefit distributors by empowering them with the tools to educate and advise customers on the latest systems and trends in enterprise technology. Through this accreditation programme, we seek to strengthen technology resellers’ relationships with their customers by providing them with in-depth understanding of the capabilities of enterprise technology systems. “Responsible AI use absolutely necessary”: Microsoft Microsoft’s head of AI strategy has Ali Dalloul, Microsoft highlighted the need for responsible and ethical technology use and said that the firm is committed to delivering the “democratisation” of artificial intelligence to promote equality and advance human potential. Ali Dalloul, general manager for strategy and commercialisation, AI, perception and MR Cloud for the Redmond firm, told 60 Mins that technological progress must be balanced with approaches that benefit anyone and everyone. Barracuda's offering at GITEX protects against multiple threats Companies are moving in large numbers to Chris Ross, Barracuda Office 365, the webbased version of the popular Microsoft Office software. This transition does, though, entail complications for organisations making the shift, Chris Ross, Barracuda Networks' senior vice president of international sales, warned at GITEX.
“We see a dramatic shift in companies moving to Office 365. The key message is the additional areas of security needed when you're moving that way,” said Ross. “A lot of companies are moving, but not thinking about the protection they need with Office 365.
