Lyles Residence Fall 2020 Medium: Photoshop, AutoCad, Revit, Twinmotion Location: Hagerstown, MD Objective: Design a modern family house.

Location: Hagerstown, MD 20742 This modern home was a team project effort, in which I had the great opportunity to work on under the direct supervision of Principal Architect, Robert Regazzoni at Wade Architecture. The objective of this project was to design the first modern house in Hagerstown, MD. The client was looking for a modern home where his family can reside. The architect excuted his vision through drawing the design plan, while I created all of the 3D work using Revit and Twin Motion.

Westphalia Elevation Render Spring-Fall 2020 Medium: Photoshop, AutoCad Location: Hagerstown, MD Objective: Create building elevations by using given materials.

Location: Hagerstown, MD 20742 At Wade Architecture, the company worked with diverse clients, ranging from Residential Contractors to Real Estate Developers looking for building elevation renders to present to their clients. The image on the right exemplifies one of the drawings that I would produce for the company. This was a collaborative effort with the Architect where he would choose the materials for the building and I would use the appropriate medium to produce building elevation renders that displayed the Architect’s vision for the house, townhome, etc.

Medium: AutoCad, Illustrator, & Indesign Location: Hagerstown, MD Objective: Create a mural for the new company's office.

Location: Hagerstown, MD 20742 This was a collaborative effort between the employees and me at Wade Architecture. The goal was to showcase the work that the company has done in the past and present. The approach that I took for this project was to ask the employees what their favorite projects was, and then I used that information to create a unique collage out of all those projects. My mural was then displayed on the wall of the new office building.

School of Public Policy University of Maryland: Spring 2018 Professor: Steven Hurtt Course: Arch 403, Studio IV Duration: 6 Weeks Medium: Pencil on Paper, ProCreate, Photoshop, AutoCad Architecture, and Revit Objective: Design the new School of Public Policy building for University of Maryland with regards to site contexts.

Location: University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742 The School of Public Policy building has its own presence and identity that follows the site context of Colonial Revival buildings.

The Colonial Revival Style was adopted at the University of Maryland, particularly to its colonial and post-revolutionary history. The building is directly adjacent to the Lee building and is aligned with the Marie Mount building. Specifically, the building is methodically framing the significant open space known as the Memorial Chapel Lawn. The building’s massing, material choice, and detailing exhibits a carefully considered response to the adjacent buildings. In addition, the building’s design consists of two different styles of pediments on each side of the entrance to emphasize its centrality.

D,C, community.

Location: 1212 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001

The Blagden Apartments deliver an innovative, modern experience for the community and the residents. The objective was to provide local artists with an exclusive and private living experience, while also allowing them to remain connected to the unique arts and culture in the surrounding D.C. neighborhood. This building consists of eight one-bedroom units and eight studio units. Within the building there is an art gallery area, which acts as a space for artists to showcase their work and collaborate with other artists.

House of Arts & Performance University of Maryland: Fall 2017 Professor: Dan Curry Course: Arch 403, Studio III Duration: 6 Weeks Medium: Photoshop, and AutoCad Architecture Objective: Design an art building that will be used for both the employees of CulturalDC as well as resident arts organizations.

Location: 1212 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 Blagden Alley is a distinctive and historic neighborhood in Washington, D.C. that flourishes with arts and culture. Inside the system of interior alleyways consists of a prospering arts district, which includes galleries, restaurants, and cultural events. The overall building is split into four spaces that serve as a certain program. The two hierarchical spaces are double heightened to emphasize its importance. The art exhibition is a public space, and is displayed in the front for the community to view and experience. Additionally, the performance art area is located in the back and is more private. Significantly, the building’s design has a cross-axial pathway which creates a simple circulation.

Origami Structure University of Maryland: Spring 2017 Professor: Ming Hu Course: Arch465, Arch Structure II Duration: 5 Days Medium: Paper Objective: Construct a structure made from paper and glue that can carry the heaviest load, while still able to fold back to a flat plane.

Location: College Park, MD Origami designs and constructions allow artists to produce an array of shapes and forms using only paper. Simple material has the ability to be reshaped or combined to form tools or machines to fulfill a need. This origami structure competition involved designing and building a foldable and smart origami construction made from paper. The design intent was to divide 30 sheets of 8.5” X 11” paper into 16 small rectangular pieces of paper, and ultimately manipulate the dimensions to form multiple tiny origami pieces.

These origami pieces consisted of three simple folds, which were horizontal, vertical, and diagonal. The final diagonal fold helped create a void within each fold, so the origami pieces could securely interlock with each other without the use of any glue.
