WOMAD is more than just music! There’s plenty for you to discover on site, so don’t miss these installations and site performances.

Parent Hub
It’s no secret WOMAD is a family friendly festival, and thanks to the Taranaki District Health Board and La Leche League, the Parent Hub offers a comfy place to feed babies and put your feet up. There are also midwives available to discuss any questions you have about your baby, one that’s planned, or one that’s on the way! Plus Ph oto: Jane Dove Juneau information about breastfeeding, immunisation, safe sleep practices and more is also available. Look out for the symbol on the map for the Hub’s location.


TSB Hammock Hangout
A new place to hang this year at WOMAD NZ, the TSB Hammock Hangout is the perfect spot to relax and shelter from the sun during the festival under the cooling canopy of the Brooklands Park trees. The TSB Hammock Hangout located next to the Te Paepae stage. Look for the icon on the map for the Hammock Hangout location.
Seating for Seniors
WOMAD is a festival that appeals to all ages. The festival caters to the young, the young at heart, and everyone in between. To make the festival experience more enjoyable and accessible, WOMAD provide elevated seating for over 65 seniors and wheelchair platforms at the three main stages: the TSB Bowl stage, the Todd Energy Brooklands stage and the Gables Stage. These mini grandstands are supervised by helpful WOMAD volunteers. Volunteers are there to make sure things run smoothly; please follow their instructions so everyone has an enjoyable and safe time. Look for the icon on the map for the locations of the elevated seating platforms.

Taranaki Embassy
Look out for a little bit of Taranaki at WOMAD. Learn more about this fabulous, award-winning region and what there is to see and do, find out about other events coming up and enter the competition to win another weekend in Taranaki to enjoy it all over again! Look out for the Venture Taranaki logo on the map for the Embassy’s location.
TSB Wai Water
Stay hydrated at WOMAD and refill your water for FREE at the TSB Wai Water stations! Either bring your own non-glass, empty water bottle or purchase a reusable one onsite from the WOStore. If you forget your bottle visit the TSB Wai Water stall and grab yourself a new reusable bottle filled with cool chilled still or sparkling water. The reusable globelets, now an established WOMAD staple, will be available for purchase from any of the bars.
