ARO

Immerse your senses in the honey-voiced jazz vocals and full throated percussive sound of husband and wife duo Aro. Charles (Ngāpuhi, Te Rarawa, Ngāti Te Ata, Ngāti Mutunga) and Emily’s performative storytelling is wholly original, and anchored in Aotearoa New Zealand, with shades of haka. The pair share a passion for the power of language and music to tell stories and remind us of our cultural identity.
