Taster courses
Taster courses offer hands-on experiences across a range of industries to help students explore their interests before committing to a formal course. They include accredited units, meaning you can earn credit that may count toward a related certificate or diploma later.
Taster courses are free for eligible students and fully funded by the Queensland Government. Participating won’t affect your eligibility for other government funding.
Note: QCE points are not awarded for Taster courses. For further information and eligibility requirements visit: tafeqld.edu.au/trade-tasters
