TAFE Queensland Gold Coast campuses

TAFE Queensland has campuses spanning the length of the Gold Coast region. From Coolangatta to Coomera, with central locations in Ashmore, Robina and Southport, our Gold Coast campuses offer a range of courses from short courses, entry-level skill sets and certificates through to diplomas and bachelor degrees.

Ashmore

Coolangatta

This specialised facility is the renowned trades training hub of the Gold Coast. Equipped with industry-standard learning technologies and purpose-built facilities such as a carpentry building, multi-level plumbing tower, and the latest diagnostic equipment from across all industries.

Located on the border of New South Wales, our Coolangatta campus serves students at the southern end of the Gold Coast. The campus is only 250 metres from the famous coastline between Snapper Rocks and Kirra Beach, with easy access to beaches, cafes, and shops.

Study areas: Automotive, building and construction, cabinetry, carpentry, electrotechnology, engineering, horticulture, plumbing.

Coomera

Coomera Marine

Offering a range of creative outlets, our Coomera campus is the perfect home for creators, innovators, entertainers, and movie makers. Specialist facilities include a cyber security training operation centre, industry-standard software, hardware, programs and tools, blackbox theatre, and more.

Our Marine Centre of Excellence offers a range of specialised training at this purpose-built campus. Leading the way in vocational education and training in the marine industry, and conveniently located minutes from the Coomera Marine Precinct, it provides students with an immersive experience in the industry.

Study areas: Blockchain, building design, cyber security, graphic design, interactive digital media, IT, interior design, music, screen and media.

Robina

Southport

At the forefront of sustainable vocational institutions in Australia, the Robina campus is a place for the community to come together. Students practise their newfound skills at our live training facilities, which include cookery, events, hospitality, fitness, and Nature’s Escape Hair and Beauty Salon. The Robina campus also has venues open to the public; Seedpod Café, Green Fields Bar + Restaurant, TQ Fitness, and REC – Robina Events Centre.

Conveniently located in the Gold Coast CBD next to the Australia Fair shopping centre and across the road from the Broadwater Parklands, our Southport campus offers vibrant spaces and advanced learning technologies. Our innovative clinical labs boast a 64-bed simulated real-world hospital environment, including an industry-standard rehabilitation room complete with physical rehabilitation equipment. These facilities cater to all areas of health care, from hospital to community-based settings.

Study areas: Accounting, business and management, cookery, early childhood education, education and training, events, fitness, hair, beauty, hospitality, justice studies.

Study areas: Aged care, allied health, community services, health, nursing, pathology, ELICOS – English language, general education and training – AMEP & SEE programs.
