Introduction

I'm Tom, a recently qualified building designer. I am following my passion into building design after a career spanning over 17 years in video editing. I can bring previous experience both as a trainee drafting technician and over one year’s internship with international engineering firm, Arup. I can draw on transferrable skills such as the ability to quickly adapt to new software, time management, team leadership and liaising with clients. With a passion and enthusiasm for the built environment and a keen eye for detail, I will be an excellent addition to your team.

Project A: Residential Dwelling

Brief was to design a 3-bedroom house with study for a family of four. Care was taken to use passive design principles to achieve a high energy rating score.

Project B: Townhouse Design

Medium density housing project. Brief was to design four townhouses with good amenities and natural lighting on a compact and sloping site.
