About us
Established on its current site in 1911 Toowoomba Anglican School (TAS), then called the Toowoomba Grammar Preparatory School, has a rich history and wonderful traditions that live on today.
Our commitment to cultivating an environment that supports each and every TAS student is at the core of our school community, and is reflected in the exemplary results and pride that our students instill in our school.
We have a very active Foundation and P & F Association. It’s through community partnerships and support that TAS is able to provide the opportunities and resources to develop every child to their full potential.
Why sponsor
To meet the needs of a developing and progressive school, TAS relies heavily on the support of the wider community. The contribution of sponsors complements the funds raised by the TAS Foundation and TAS P & F Association to provide facilities, bursaries, and equipment which enhance the delivery of education and assist students to reach their potential.

TAS Foundation
The TAS Foundation is an independent entity with its own board and a clear mission: to enhance the school’s facilities and provide bursaries.
Primary and Secondary Bursaries are designed to offer deserving students the opportunity to benefit from a high quality education that might otherwise be beyond their reach. By providing financial support, the Foundation helps to create a diverse and inclusive school community where all students can thrive.
In addition to bursaries, the Foundation is dedicated to improving and expanding the school’s facilities. This includes classrooms, building state-of-the-art facilities, enhancing sports infrastructure and creating inspiring learning environments that foster academic excellence and personal growth.
TAS Parents and Friends’ Association
The TAS Parents and Friends Association host several important events during the school year to unite the Toowoomba Anglican School community socially, and secondly to raise funds to support funding of future school projects that directly benefit the students.
Each year the Parents and Friends Association dedicates its time, energy, and effort to planning and hosting events, the profits of which they sow back into the school, providing vital resources that benefit our entire school from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Through strong partnerships with local businesses, we aim to create a vibrant and supportive school environment. By joining us as a sponsor, you will not only help us to achieve our goals, but also demonstrate your commitment to education and community development.
