Orientation and Community Day In This Issue:
The campus was alive and buzzing. The sausage sizzle lunch provided by Tabor Student Life Social Club allowed students to become part of the student community and meet new people from different courses and backgrounds. Students were able to connect and share their passion, knowledge, experience and aspirations to likeminded people.
Orientation and Community Day Tabor Student Life Social Club Positions Vacant Adelaide Fringe Tickets Tabor Adelaide’s Orientation and Community Day held on Monday February 11, 2013 marked the beginning of the academic year. It gave students, new and current the opportunity to orient themselves into or back to the wonderful world of student life.

The day began with Worship and Prayer, following an information session. The Information Session gave students the required knowledge of Tabor in a welcoming community environment before enjoying a free Morning Tea hosted by Credit Union SA. Next, the Individual Schools Program sessions allowed students to gain relevant information specific to their school in a relaxed friendly atmosphere Students were able to connect with their peers, support team and lecturers in small supportive groups.
Breaking back into Individual Schools permitted Students to explore the heritage venue and facilities of Tabor. This is where students developed an understanding that Tabor places pride in their students and their academic education. If you missed out on this experience and would like to obtain information that was given out at Tabor Adelaide’s Orientation and Community Day, please speak to our friendly Administration staff at Tabor Adelaide. We look forward to seeing you all here on Monday February 18 for the commencement of Semester One.

Want to meet new people and have FUN? Tabor Student Life Social Club (TSLSC) is for you.
The grass is just a flower bed waiting for you!
TSLSC can help you become part of the student community. It is a democratic organisation run by students for students.
We would love volunteers to work in our beautiful gardens. If you have a passion for gardening and have a few extra hours to spare we would love to hear from you. Our gardens are often visited by the local community and wedding parties drop by to have photos taken. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only help Tabor Adelaide but your local community too.
Prepare for some of the best years of your life and discover the wider Tabor. Become a leader, help support and organise events throughout the year. This will help you enjoy your time at Tabor and pursue your extracurricular interests. Adelaide Fringe Tickets REMNANT DANCE presents ‘Remnants found in you’ as part of the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival: 7-8pm, 19-21 February at the Nexus Cabaret, Adelaide. The contemporary dance includes compositions by former Tabor Adelaide dance lecturer, Lucinda Coleman. She is choreographed to an original musical composition by Tabor Adelaide lecturer, Virginia Lakeman.
Tabor Adelaide, located in South Australia, is a multi denominational Christian Education Centre offering government accredited courses at tertiary level.
The highlight of the triple bill is the performance by Ellen Avery, a former dance and education student who graduated from Tabor Adelaide in 2010.
