Handel’s has been making ice cream on site, the old-fashioned way, since 1945 when Alice Handel started selling it at her husband’s gas station. In those days, Alice created her flavors using fresh fruit she picked from her own backyard, which makes their highly anticipated summer flavor, peach, a perfect flashback to the old days. And don’t miss their other popular summer flavors like Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry, Mango Sorbet, Blueberry Cobbler and Key Lime Pie.
