CREDIT POLICY CHANGE WITH EFFECT FROM 1ST JANUARY 2013 Due to the introduction of the Property Services (Regulation) Act 2011, which came into effect on 6th July 2012, we have been obliged to enforce a “No Credit” policy across the board. Where marts are found to be in breach of legislation, the PSRA will have the power to revoke Auctioneer’s Licences and impose fines of up to €250,000 and/or custodial sentences. With immediate effect the following policy, without exception, will apply
ANIMALS MUST BE PAID FOR ON THE DAY OF SALE.
We do understand that this change may cause inconvenience, however as I’m sure you can appreciate this is beyond our control. This policy will be implemented across the industry.
