Where marts are found to be in breach of legislation, the PSRA will have the power to revoke Auctioneer’s Licences and impose fines of up to €250,000 and/or custodial sentences. With immediate effect the following policy, without exception, will apply
ANIMALS MUST BE PAID FOR ON THE DAY OF SALE. We do understand that this change may cause inconvenience, however as I’m sure you can appreciate this is beyond our control.
