Evangelism in Techina & Dama (Ethiopia)
Dear friends! In the second and third weeks of December, we held our last two evangelis�c campaigns of 2025 in Ethiopia. The very last campaign was the crowning glory of this year. It almost didn't happen. It was only thanks to a large individual dona�on that we were able to squeeze this campaign in, one week before Christmas. We were in Dama, a place that hardly anyone knows and where no evangelist had ever been before. People came from near and far, and it seemed as if the inhabitants of the en�re region had gathered on Sunday. They listened to the preached Word of God, and the Holy Spirit was at work. Many accepted Jesus and were healed. We heard amazing miracles of healing. So many were healed that we only asked people whose eyes or ears had been healed to come on stage. A man who had fallen from his horse 10 years ago and had been unable to walk since then was healed. He had also been completely deaf for 3 years. His ears were healed as well. A girl who was deaf and mute was healed. A man whose eye had gone blind a�er eye surgery was healed. A woman who had broken her shoulder three years ago and had been unable to li� her arm since then and suffered from constant pain was healed. And much more. Pastor Dereje, our organizer, recently told me that he s�ll receives calls from pastors repor�ng many healings.
In 2025, we conducted a total of 10 evangelis�c campaigns in Ethiopia and 3 in Nigeria. Everywhere we saw the power of the Holy Spirit at work. Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will con�nue my ministry in my name and do the same works that I have done.” That is our mission and the mission of every church. This year, we have planned two evangelis�c campaigns for January, two for February, one for March, and two for April. We are completely dependent on faithful donors like you, and we ask you to stand by us in the new year with your prayers and dona�ons. We are living in the last days, and no one knows how long we will s�ll have the freedom to travel and preach. Jesus is coming again, and he said that we do not know the �me or hour of his coming, but that we can know for which genera�on he is returning. The genera�on that sees these end-�me promises fulfilled will also see his return. I have no doubt that we are that genera�on. Paul writes to the Ephesians in chapter 3:20: “Never doubt God's mighty power, which is at work within you to accomplish all this: He will do infinitely more than you ask or imagine, far exceeding your wildest dreams and expecta�ons, for his miraculous power is constantly at work in you and for you.” That is my wish for everyone in 2026! This woman was deaf in one ear for two years. Now she can hear again.
His right ear had been deaf since childhood. He can now hear.
A�er eye surgery, one eye was completely blind and the other eye was par�ally blind. Now he can see again with both eyes.
10 years ago, this man fell from his horse and has been unable to walk ever since. 3 years ago, he also became completely deaf. Jesus healed him, and now he can walk and hear again.
THE STREAMS OF GOD Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates. Genesis 2:10–14
In the New Testament, we are God's garden. Rivers of living water flow to and through us. “You visit the earth and water it, making it very frui�ul. The river of God is full of water,” Psalm 65:10. You are God's land. God visits you, makes you frui�ul and rich.
has called you to do will come to pass, will burst forth, and will be revealed. No devil and no man can stop you. You break out to the right and to the le�, and the flood of God flows forth, and His glory is seen through you.
The first stream, Pishon, means abundance, overflow, increase. Jesus came to give us his abundance and overflow. “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full,” John 10:10. Spiritually, physically, and materially. In God there is no lack. God's plans and thoughts are so much higher than our plans and thoughts. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him,” 1 Corinthians 2:9. These are things that God has already prepared for us here on earth, not just in heaven. “The Lord will bless you more and more, you and your children,” Psalm 115:14, is His promise to you. God promises His children: “Wealth and riches will be in their house, and their righteousness will endure forever,” Psalm 112:3. “Beloved, I wish you well in every way and good health, just as your soul is well,” 3 John 2. Expect this for 2026.
The third stream is called Hiddekel, which means swi� as an arrow, purposeful, accelera�ng. God wants us to pursue the goal, to be in mo�on, and to gain more and more speed and momentum. Our goal is the heavenly prize we are pursuing. We are not to sit idly by, but to take land for Jesus and set goals for ourselves. This year, resolve to do more for God, to win more people for Jesus, to sow more, to reap more. Expect more from God and stretch your faith for more. He wants to bless you beyond asking and understanding.
The second stream is called Gihon, which means burs�ng forth or breakthrough. God wants your calling to burst forth. He wants to give you a breakthrough in your life, your career, your finances, and your health. Nothing can stop you. Everything the Lord

The fourth stream is called the Euphrates, which means fer�lity. In John 15, Jesus says that he is the vine and we are the branches. The fruit grows on the branches. He wants us to bear fruit, then bear more fruit, then bear much fruit. “I have chosen you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain,” verse 16. “In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit,” verse 8. 2026 is going to be your best year yet. God's rivers bring growth, breakthrough, accelera�on, and frui�ulness into your life.
