Welcome to the Value Added Bull Sale. This sale, being one of the last opportunities to purchase high quality Hereford bulls, is packed full of new genetic opportunities to put up-to-date Hereford influence into your program. For those who have weathered the storm over the past seven years, congratulations, as now you can be a part of the wonderful ride in times ahead. The requirement of efficiency and breed identity in production in the livestock industry is more important than it has ever been. Feeders need to know the genetic make-up of stockers to improve their efficiency and bottom line. Hereford influence is taken for granted in the commercial industry; with the baldy being one of the best mother cows walking the pastures, as she can be mated to any breed of bull with limited risk and increased reward. The problem lies in availability, as it is difficult to find straight-bred Hereford cows to build around; therefore, the quickest solution is adding quality bulls to your battery. These bulls will give an added measure of hair, docility, feed efficiency, calving ease, maintain performance and most importantly give identity to your calf crop. Although the bulls offered in Value Added stem from four separate operations; it is amazing how similar they are in type. These breeders are leaders in the breed; having a competitive edge and continually adding new fresh genetics into their programs. In this offering you will find power bulls that will add pounds at weaning, in addition to bulls suitable for both heifer and cow pastures. Feel free to visit the breeder’s farms prior the sale and view the bulls in their natural environment and you can see the mothers, as several operations are only minutes apart. Do not hesitate to call the consignors for their recommendations of the bulls that will suit your needs. Plan to come early, view the bulls and be guests for lunch. All the bulls will have weights, measurements and semen checks sale day. If, we at T Bar C, may be of any assistance, prior to or sale day, feel free to give Chris or myself a call. See you in Kisbey Ted

There is a little more frame to this Stetson son, but with an 88lbs birth weight, calving ease won’t be a problem. Can’t say enough about his Nasdaq dam, except to wish we had a pasture full of cows like her. Her 2009 Bright Future son is being used here at C&T.
