Saturday, March 4, 2017 marks the 9th anniversary Wards’ Red Angus Bull Sale. It has been a pleasure working with Clarke and Denise from day one...a couple that shares the same goals and have instilled those goals and common sense into the next generation...their children. If there is an award for ultimate breeder follow-up and customer service, my bets are on the Wards...purchase a Ward bull and you will see what we mean. The aim with every customer is to supply a quality, not-cooked bull which has longevity and most importantly, ease of calving and backed by the Ward guarantee!

A great set of bulls and as usual, we could use more fall bulls as their popularity grows each spring season. They can handle more females in a breeding season than their yearling contemporaries and come in the fall, in better condition. But the lineup is powerful and bred to be predictable.... predictable in being highly maternal and plum full of calving ease values, so your new bull can be unloaded directly into any pasture. Since it has taken a quarter century to build this program, you can buy with confidence knowing that the genetics are both true and tested through the families that established this top herd.

Boy these Fall Bulls just get better every year! Low input…….MAX output! The low maintenance of the fall calving group is getting more and more appealing every year! All calves are born unassisted on grass, they are kept on their cow for the first winter and weaned in May. The bulls then go to their own pasture to grow and develop. We were late getting these guys home this year and they we out till the first week of December! These boys are NOT pampered! We believe this will provide you with some of the most durable bulls to hit your pastures this spring! The youth of a yearling combined with the servicing capacity of a two year old means this group may be the most valuable bulls of all. Purchaser’s Risk:

Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Breeding Guarantee:

We guarantee to provide a sound breeding bull capable of passing a semen test at 14 months of age. Any bull failing to be a satisfactory breeder will be replaced with a bull of equal value and quality, or a credit given towards purchase of another bull. All consigners fully stand behind their bulls!

Semen Collection:

Ward’s Red Angus reserves the right to collect 100 straws of semen on any bull in this catalogue. This collection would be done at our expense and the purchaser’s convenience and would be for in herd use only.

Liability:

Any liability of the bull is restricted to the purchase price of that bull. If any problems arise, please contact us as soon as possible. Everyone who attends the sale does so at their own risk. The owners and staff assume no responsibility for property loss or for any accidents that may occur.

Weight Information:

BW – is the actual weight at birth (within 24 hours). WW is actual weight taken on September 19, 2016 unless otherwise stated. A current sale weight will be available sale day.

Loadout:
