The Royal has never felt this good... Annually once the end of September hits, everyone is talking about Toronto. The pure charisma and atmosphere that surrounds this show is talked about worldwide. The Ring of Excellence, the main show alley, the long walk to tie outs under the QEW with the CN tower staring you down just gives you goosebumps when it comes to exhibiting and promoting your program. This year, we feel we’ve done the best ever in regards to the material available in this offering. So, please join us in the center of the cattle barns at the Premier stall to view the stock prior to the sale and gather around. It’s just a short walk up towards the Ring Of Excellence at the Bull Pen Bar where we all have great memories and can take in this very special sale happening on the center stage on the Saturday night of the contagious Royal. Any questions please don’t hestiate to contact any of us.

Yes you heard it right! Pick of The ‘27 Born Hollinger Land & Cattle Heifer calves! You are buying the Exclusive, 1st pick, of the 2027 born heifer calves at HLC. This opportunity is one that has never before been offered by this program. If you ask Chris Poley I’m sure he will attest, that in all the years of selecting sale cattle at HLC he has mostly been unsuccessful in securing his 1st pick as a sale consignment. As we all know there are often times where certain individuals are just not for sale!

Not this time! The choice is yours!

Grandriver Donna M405

HLC High Rose 647N

Our 2027 heifer calves represent the continued focus and direction of our program at Hollinger Land & Cattle. These females are backed by generations of proven genetics, with an emphasis on maternal strength, soundness, fertility, performance, and the ability to thrive in a practical ranch environment. We are excited about the consistency and quality of the 2026 calf crop and believe 2027 could be even more exciting yet! These young females have the potential to become productive, long-lasting cows and valuable additions to any breeding program. Next summer we invite you to come take a close look at the 2027 heifers and see the kind of functional, dependable females we are striving to produce. We own a number of cattle in partnership with Roger Reynolds of CSI Angus. Along side Roger we have built a strong foundation of females that we are excited for you to analyze. That being said all the calves carrying the HLC and CSI prefix will be available to choose from. In past years our females have had great success not only in the pasture but In the show ring as well. We have been fortunate to exhibit many division Champions at some of the major shows in western Canada. Manitoba Ag Ex, Lloyminister Stockade Roundup and most notably Canadian Western Agribition. In 2017 came possibly our greatest show ring accomplishments to date where we were named Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor at the National Angus Show at the Canadian Western Agribition. This is a feat we are very proud to have accomplished in a very short time. The foundation of our herd as many will know, has been HLC Erica 561G. She is a direct 74A daughter that has been responsible for many of our sale feature cattle in past years both Male and Female. We own her in partnership with Roger Reynolds, CSI Angus and Kourtney Schaff, Schaff Angus Valley in North Dakota. Erica continues to work in both programs and will leave a lasting impact for years to come. To date her progeny have earned approximately $480,000 in sales. That number will continue to grow as she continues to produce outstanding quality. For 2027 there are multiple ET matings, including Coleman Avalanche, S A V Rise And Shine and Brooking National. As well, Erica has multiple daughters working in our herd that are tracking right behind her in terms of production and quality. For new and up-and-coming donors, we are excited for another 74A daughter, HLC Erica 383M. We put in a large number of her embryos by Musgrave Primal, one of the hottest bulls on the scene today. As well, we are very excited for Grand River Donna M405 our newest acquisition from last years AAC. She brings to us a new proven cow family that we are very excited to build around. Retaining the right to one successful flush at the sellers expense and the buyers convenience.

Pick to be made by August 1, 2027. Consignor — Hollinger Land & Cattle

Her extra length, extra mass, extra extension and wide back is just captivating from any position you analyze her. Fluid in motion and so gentle in her movement, with an abundance of flex in her joints, all while displaying a remarkable teat spread underneath. She has us pretty excited and she has been a force at the front of the pack when she we exhibited her early this fall, walking away with a couple Supreme Championships under her belt. We’ve tried to build her with as much maternal strength as possible while keeping power and femininity in the package, plus she comes with an outcross pedigree to most operations. We’ve had the good fortune to be around a lot of great cows, but there’s something about Erica 6K that is just extra special. She recently was the $260,000 valued AAC high seller with Interest at auction from every corner of the world. Her body mass, gorgeous look and the fact that she is being regarded as the best daughter of the legendary 74A gives her lots of reasons to be a headliner. With a very fertile flush record and progeny about to surface that will be talked about for some time, the marketability and talent this cow can bring your farm or ranch is significant. Check the support photos to her siblings that have been effective in multiple operations and been breeding pieces that have been life altering in terms of production and ROI. 6K is currently housed at Yackley Ranches in South Dakota and can be prepared for aspiration right away. Plans are to bring her to Canada with the option of using this flush in 2027 up here. Your choice. Either way, 6K is a landmark female. This opportunity to flush Erica 6K to the sire of your choice won’t come around in the near future if ever again, so prepare yourself for what could be one of the best breeding decisions you could make. 6K is currently averaging 19 embryos per flush at Yackleys. We are guaranteeing 10 embryos with an open top on this tremendous female.

This out cross pedigreed vixen sure is about to catch your eye. Her big outline and brood cow appearance with a gorgeous underline while still maintaining an angular femininity look makes her a top candidate coming as a two yearold. Her early service to Cast-Iron comes promising as well with no exposure. Gentle natured, big belly, big backed and fluid in motion. This is a top pick for the Royal sale.
