elcome to Strongbow Farms 1st Annual Bull and Female Sale. We are very excited to be hosting our very first public auction. In the past we have sold our bulls directly off the farm, giving us a chance to meet and visit with lots of new people. We are very grateful to those of you that have supported our program in the past.

We feel the animals offered in this sale are solid and hard working, in which we stand behind. Selecting females for this year’s sale has been very difficult. When trying to build a herd it’s tough to part with these sorts of pedigrees.

In 2012 my wife Heather and I decided to buy into the Angus industry. With a small herd we began learning the ropes. With trial and error we began our adventure. We were fortunate to have had the help of fellow breeders along the way to whom we will always be grateful. With a beginning family, full time jobs, and cattle on the go, something had to give. So we gave into the cattle industry full-time, growing our herd substantially every year. I have found with a young herd and great family support we have been able to strive towards improvements each year.

We have purchased our cattle from top producing herds throughout Canada and the United States. Along with the use of a extensive Artificial Insemination breeding program we have been able to grow our Angus herd with some the best genetics the industry has to offer. Half our herd are high performance commercial cattle and the other half

ith great excitement we welcome everyone to join us for the first annual Strongbow Farms production sale at their beautiful ranch just outside Hartney, Manitoba. T Bar C is proud to endorse this fast growing, progressive operation and are pleased to be working with the young Bertholet family.

Strongbow has. They have dug deep into the replacement pen to offer some elite females to fellow breeders. Popular genetics to say the least, but after viewing both the bulls and females in mid January, we were simply impressed with the high quality of cattle being offered through this event and the way the Bertholet family has managed them.

The bulls being offered in the sale are truly the desired kind! Developed and bred to add pounds to your calf crop and bottom line. The genetics are most certainly from the cutting edge, as you will find many highly recognized pedigrees throughout. Please pay attention to the weaning and yearling weights on these bulls; they are worth the drive to see.

In closing, be sure to join us and not only view a great lineup of cattle but to also view the fantastic well built facilities here at Strongbow. The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made.

Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Certificate of Registration:

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Health: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Liabilities:

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.

Delivery:

Assistance will be given in getting your purchases home. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
