GENETICS BACKED BY generations OF MATERNAL PERFORMANCE

![]()

Hello and Welcome to our 2026 Cowmaker Angus Bull Sale!
At Fourth Creek Angus, we focus on raising cattle that are balanced. Every mating we make is designed to produce bulls with a strong maternal design that will produce daughters who will stay in your herd for years to come.
We have invested in the Angus GS program and we have made a priority to DNA test every animal on the farm, so you can rest assured that every animal in our sale is parent verified and backed by proven genetics.
So mark your calendars for Tuesday March 3rd and come see the bulls for yourself.
We are excited to witness how they will integrate into your herds, providing you maternal balance, efficiency and outstanding performance.
Sincerely,
Ryan and Lucie

The bulls and their dams have been managed on pasture and hay all year long. The bull calves are weaned at 8 months of age with a 2-step low-stress weaning method. They will be grown out on pasture to be developed slowly with a balanced diet of alfalfa hay and grass, complemented by high protein pellet from Country Junction, with a free choice mineral. We are aiming for appropriate growth and great breeding longevity.
Our bulls follow a comprehensive health program: - Vaccinations include Fermicon 7/Somnugen and Inforce 3 at weaning weight, Fusoguard at yearling weight with a booster at breeding soundness test. - Ivomec Pour-On at yearling weight and at breeding soundness exam.
With our 2-year-old bulls, we believe they will cover more cows for you, have a greater breeding vigor and hold up to your environment. Our select yearling bulls will be well-suited for all your heifer projects. While our handling techniques may differ from yours, taking the time to move your bull calmly, gently but firmly will yield positive results and help them settle. At Fourth Creek Angus, our bulls are used to be in small groups, hand fed and walked around on foot with dogs. They have been worked in corrals with low stress cattle handling techniques. They are not used to horses and dogs in corrals; therefore, it might take some time for them to adjust to a new environment

GREAT GENETICS AND BEST PRACTICES PROVIDE OUR CUSTOMERS WITH TOOLS FOR SUCCESS
- All bulls have been DNA tested for improved accuracy on their EPDs via Angus GS/HD.
- All bulls are parent verified.
- All 2-year-old bulls have passed a semen test. All yearling bulls are guaranteed to pass at 14 months old, testing is the responsibility of the buyer.
- All bulls are shown in their working clothes.
- Accurate weights are very important to us, they have been taken on the bulls throughout their life with a Gallagher Weigh Scale & Data Collector system..
THE AVERAGE RANKINGS OF ALL BULLS IN THIS SALE IS IN THE TOP 25% OF THE BREED FOR THE FOLLOWING TRAITS:
Percentage (%) of assisted births when bulls of varying CED EPD are bred to first parity registered Angus females with breed average calving ease genetics
(CED EPD=+5, CEM EPD=+8).
Kelli Retallick, “How much Calving Ease is enough?”, GENEX Canada Beef Sire Directory
Animals tested through Angus GS will have the same amount of accuracy on their EPD profiles as if they had recorded 10-36 calves, depending on the trait.
How do you know if EPDs are genomicenhanced?
Ask your breeder, refer to the registration paper, or look for the AGI GE-EPD Logo, Angus GS TM powered by parter Neogen or the HD50K by partner Zoetis. These images indicate animals for which genomic testing has been conducted and incorporated by AGI into GE-EPDs.
