2026 Stuart Cattle Station Private Treaty Bull Pen.
Thanks for your interest in what is our 34th group of Angus bulls to sell. An accomplishment due to the continued support we have had and we thank you for your interest in this year’s offering. What a fall run 2025 turned out to be. Cattle markets we didn’t think were possible came to fruition. It has been a long ride to get to this point. Enjoy it, you deserve it. It is quite a bull pen this year. Some matings that really clicked, new sire groups that offer new genetics and some proven bulls that continue to sire the good ones. The black pen is anchored by Alco and Marksman sons. They are closely related to the reserve champion pen of 3 bulls this year at Agribition from Cowtrax. While their sons look great, we are more impressed with the females both these sires are bringing to the table. Equity offers a new sire group, sons that are stout and packed full of beef. He’s backed by one of the best females to walk our place. On top of that, some new AI sired calves round out the offering. The red pen is deep with calves that will give you convenience calving but still leave you something in the fall. The Comeback sons are real head turners, offering calving ease with extra style to burn. The Lightning sons will click so well with exotic cross females. Easy doing, finer boned, smooth fronted and exceptionally quiet. The Barclay calves are the curve benders, with some of the better muscle patterns you will find. The Decepticon sons continue to get back to the basics in beef production. There isn’t one female behind these bulls that we wouldn’t use on our commercial herd. In good times and bad, the strength of your cow herd will get you through. We tend to push these cows at times and let mother nature decide which ones work. The weaning weights represented are what the calf and its mother could produce in the 2025 growing season without creep feed. Grass conditions were less than ideal at times this growing season, but I don’t think that showed in weaning performance. The calves were weaned October 10 then fed for a goal ADG of 2.5 lbs. Sorry, some of the bulls got a little dirty but a wet fall was a welcome relief from a dry growing season. The bulls were pictured in mid-January, at an average age of around 10 months. New this year, we will be having an open house on February 17th, which will be the first day calves will be available to purchase. Feel free to come ahead of time to look at this year’s offering. Once again, we appreciate your interest and continued support. It means the world to us.

Alco has worked so well for us in both the bull and female groups. We make money on the bulls, but the daughters are some of the nicest uddered, sweet fronted females you’ll find. His dam is writing a book at Cowtrax, being the dam of 2/3 of their pen of bulls this year at Agribition. The sons are the right kind. Early maturing sons that show a rapid growth curve while looking good doing it. His sons are versatile breeding options, keeping BW in check then taking off on grass. We lost Alco to injury, but his legacy will carry on through the AI tank in 2026.

A large group of Marksman sons highlight this year’s bull pen. Originally purchased as a calving ease option, Marksman has seen use on both heifers and cows successfully. A highly fertile sire, his calves follow his same pattern as him. Stout made, broad topped sons that carry muscle throughout. His dam is highly regarded at the CowTrax operation, and we eagerly await daughters coming up. They look like they will play a major part in the cow herd going forward
