ED CONROY, was a great friend, partner and a pivotal part of Kootenay Polled Herefords with Murray Gore. Ed’s passions were his family, the farm and the cattle. Being a breeder for over 50 years, first as Norns Creek Farms and then in his 30-year partnership with Murray Gore, as Kootenay Polled Herefords. The partnership won awards at many shows; often taking on very large breeders, to the surprise of everyone Our family are honored to have known Ed and Katrina and their kids. We still talk about our post Bonanza visit, and the fun that they all had at the “Paradise Water Slide” on their back yard mountain, getting to know one another. Ed , as Kootenay Polled Herefords, was partnered in many of our breeding bulls here at Square D. Milestone 44P, Hinge 290A, Beef 15Z, Duramax 8X, Century 957B, Dagger 272G and Jan 373D to name a few.
