Te r ms & Co ndi ti o ns TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATIONS: Each purebred animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Speckle Park Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. PEDIGREE ESTIMATES: Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such. HEALTH: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements. GUARANTEE: All sellers and buyers of Speckle Park cattle in this sale are expected to be knowledgeable of and to abide by the Guidelines for Seller and Buyer Expectations and the By-laws of the Canadian Speckle Park Association. These documents are available from the Association’s office. PREGNANCY INFORMATION: All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.

With utmost sincerity we would like to thank all of the great people that bid on and purchased with confidence in our first ever Prairie Gateway Speckle Park Sale last spring. We are truly honoured to have the support from those that have an eye for good cattle and can see the benefits of Speckle Park. Our bulls have been developing nicely and we are equally as happy with our heifers that will be on offer. Our main objective in our program is to influence good performance, maintain the important maternal traits while keeping them correct. Right, wrong or otherwise these calves see absolutely no creep ration while with their mothers so I think you can appreciate them for what they are. As I sit here and think about the past year I am in disbelief of how fast it has flown by. What a year it has been and I am proud of our culture and the tough, resilient folks that represent it. May our pastures be green and our water supplies be brimming over in the months ahead. We think very highly of his dam and we have flushed her twice now for these reasons. A half-brother sold to Taylor Ranching at Gainsborough last year. The bottom end on these bulls is laced with the maternal characteristics to create top heifers for the replacement pen. We paired 77F with our River Hill Gustov 963G sire to maintain those characteristics and add some more style and performance. We did just that.
