Welcome to Prairie Cove Charolais and their New Decade Spring Sale held at the ranch on February 20th, Bashaw, Alberta. Speaking of decades, old “T Bar” remarked at Christmas, how over three generations, the Prairie Cove program has evolved… with each generation adding to the previous generation.”

Prairie Cove Charolais has been a “spark plug” in the breed, Provincially, Nationally and Internationally. During the past show season, they exhibited at four fall major expositions… the Canadian National Show in Toronto, the US National Show in Louisville, Kentucky, Farm Fair International and Canadian Western Agribition. At those four shows they either exhibited the Grand or Reserve Grand Champion, a feat that will be very difficult to replicate.

Consider the opportunities in this event. Paternal brothers of the Players Club Champion and siblings to the Champion Pair of Heifer Calves sell.

Plus the Champion Pen of Three Bulls at the Alberta Select will be featured and let’s not forget, that one of the features in the sale will be Cay’s Outlaw 2G. On behalf of everyone here at Prairie Cove we would like to thank you for your interest and support in our program, and consider this your personal invitation to the sale. I am extremely excited for these cattle to get out and work for the new owner as I truly believe this is the best set we have produced to date. This set of cattle definitely has something for everyone, the bulls and females alike sell in all price ranges to suit all needs. We feel this years bulls are burly built, big bodied, extra hairy the type of cattle that just plain work.

We have had an amazing year exhibiting cattle all over North America and its something we enjoy doing but we sure wouldn’t be able to do that without all the extra help of our families and friends and great neighbours.

This summer coming up it will be great to have the National CCYA junior show back in Alberta, Our girls will be attending and we sure hope to see lots of old friends and make many new ones. These CCYA events have been so great for myself growing up and continue to be a must attend event in the summer, we have females in the sale that would work great for any junior member give us a call to talk about options on these females and getting them shown at CCYA 2020.

Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. Breeder’s Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co.
