First Annual Angus Bull Sale

POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

NEW DATE:

TUESDAY APRIL 19 1:00 PM

April 14, 2022

Crandall, MB

Welcome! We would like to welcome you to the N7 Stock Farm First Annual Bull Sale. It might be our first bull sale but we have been selling Angus bulls by private treaty for in excess of 20 years. The bulls on offer are on a strict health program. They get Express One Shot, Blackleg with Haemophilus, and Ivomec prior to turn out on grass. This is repeated in the fall at weaning time. The bulls are weaned in the middle of October. They are brought into the corrals and put on a home- grown silage base TMR ration with mineral and vitamins balanced by Eric van Meijl at Masterfeeds of Brandon. Through the years we have used an extensive A.I. Program to build our herd. As you will notice our walking bulls are A.I. sired. To us this made the most sense to be able to select the best genetics on both sides, the A.I. sires and our own top cows. You’ll notice our stalwart cow families such as the Blackwood Lady and Mary KTs are very prevalent throughout the pedigrees of many of our top bulls. You will find that we did not put a lot of write ups in, because there are a lot of half and three quarter brothers who are very similar and offer you the opportunity to buy a group of closely related bulls for your herd. The catalog is presented by sire group for your selection convenience and to show off the consistency in these bulls. The cow herd consists of about 750 head of purebred and commercial angus cattle. The bulls are selected to sire strong commercial calves which will perform in the auction ring, the feedlot, and on the rail. We are proud of the cattle we raise and we think you will find a bull to fill your needs. These cattle are not raised to be show cows. They are everyday working cows that we have made our living off for over 47 years. Cattle is our business and that’s what we do best. Please check the footnotes found in the catalogue and if you have any questions please contact us. We hope to see many of our previous and perspective buyers, family, and friends come out and have hot lunch and refreshments on sale day. Come by any time and check the bulls out before the sale, you are always welcome .

From the desk at T Bar C

Welcome to the first annual N7 Stock Farms Bull Sale, on April 14th, 2022 at the farm, Crandall, Manitoba. N7 Stock Farms and the Nykoliation Family are no strangers in the Angus breed and the livestock industry. For decades, they have been producing and marketing high quality bulls by private treaty… a task which occupies the biggest part of the spring season. Therefore, Allan and Gerald have decided to offer their rugged lineup of yearling bulls in one day. In addition to their purebred base, the Nykolations run a very large herd of commercial cows… they know what it takes to be successful in the commercial industry and is reflected by the strength of the bulls they offer. Performance while maintaining calving ease, soundness with longevity, high maternal values in the mothers… sums up the N7 basics. The bulls are stout and rugged with lots of hair and testicle… whether you are looking for a power bull for the cows or a sleep easy sire, the selection is genetically diverse with bulls for all types of budget. Feel free to stop by the farm anytime prior the sale and preview the bulls and see their mothers… do not hesitate to give Allan or Gerald a call to discuss the bulls that will fulfill your breeding requirements. Plan to be with us on April 14th for the N7 Black Angus bull sale whether it be in person, online or on the telephone. We have graded all the bulls and would be pleased to assist you with your selections in a professional and confidential manner… call any of the T BarC team.

BW: 85 // A C T W W: 942 This bull is our pick of the bull pen. He exhibits the style, depth and the length that is needed for his calves to press heavy on the scale at sale time. His dam is sired by a bull Belvin Angus selected as an embryo from Argentina and we were fortunate enough to get semen on. The Patron females have been excellent cows: deep bodied, great feet, and excellent udders along with a super disposition. Cross this with EF Titan 545C, the Supreme Champion of Agribition in 2016 and WOW. Don’t overlook this herd sire. We retain the right to collect semen on this bull for in herd use at the buyers convenience.

Sire - EF Titan 545

One of the five International grandsons in the sale. We selected 37F for his full hip, strong wide top line, and square stance and excellent disposition. The dam 102B carries the Elvis 9Y traits crossed with the 12W cow (a TC Stout 402 daughter that Cameron flushed and marketed internationally). The Stout and the Elvis cow families both added the maternal traits of udder quality and easygoing dispositions. The 37F sons will benefit from these traits. Great cow bull prospects.

This bull 94J puts it all together: wide top, good hip, and excellent square stance and top that all off with his great hair coat. You will like him too.

Longevity bred into this bull, his paternal gramma is still producing at the age of 16 years old and his mother is working hard in the herd at the age of 10 years.
