Our cows can wean a calf crop under almost any conditions. cattle are sold with 100% guarantee and we strive to be #1 on service.

We know sometimes things go wrong with bulls and if you have trouble we want to be the first to know. isn’t in this for the short haul. We have been in the “Bull Business” for many years and this is our 23rd sale at home.

We know good cattle can sell themselves and we try to offer a good selection of bulls that are affordable to the budget of the rancher.

We consider it a privilege to have our bulls working in so many ranchers programs. is confident in our bulls and we know there is no substitute for quality. MJT bulls are not pampered. They are raised right from the beginning to stay sound and athletic and are ready to go to work for the rancher.

0% of MJT sale bulls have had their feet trimmed and we consider one herd bull battery to be the best genetics available.

The most significant concern of any rancher is the profit he makes 2

from his cows. We feel that having kept the basics in the cattle business in mind our genetics should produce cattle that can put profit in your jeans. has many options to buy your bulls – in person, on line with DLMS or on the phone with us or one of our sales staff.

We do have sight unseen option to and iff you are not happy with your purchase when the bull is delivered you are not required to purchase the bull.

The majority of our cows calve out on grass, on their own with minimal supervision. Our cow herd is young and we do not make any exceptions or excuses for them. Doing this really gets easier when you see the benefits.

We selected Sizzler from Kelly and Angie Feige. He was Senior Bull Calf Champion at Stockade Roundup 2011. 505Z follows the pattern we admire of 20X! That round muscle, good feed and soundness were qualities of the old bull. 505Z’s mama is out of a top cow family that never misses. Longevity, excellent milk and sound feet and leg structure 505Z travels well, he is athletic and breeds consistent birth weights. With a 76 lb. birth weight and a short gestation makes him a valuable sire in the MJT Herd Bull Battery.

CE Mick found First Impression as a calf in 2015 at the Denver National Stock Show.

He was a mid-April calf and at 9 months old his natural muscling and early maturity was impressive. Seeing his mother sealed the deal for us!

This pedigree is new to Canada. First Impressions sire – Dameron First Impression – was the 2012 Denver Grand Champion Angus Bull. His progeny has been dominating shows across North America.

The dam of Dameron First Impression is a First Class daughter and is of the best Angus females we have ever seen – her sire Lagrande MAF Antidote 5775 has earned the respect of many cattlemen. You can find many of her progeny in championship rings across North America.

With a loaded pedigree and combination of calving ease and performance MAF First Impression 4420 has the best of both worlds!

BLACK ANGUS 2 YEAR OLD BULLS We have selected and bred for low birth weights and calving ease in our Black Angus herd from the beginning.

We now have generations of consistent low birth weights in our cow herd base.

Many bulls in the sale can be used on heifers.

These big rascals were calved on grass starting mid-April. The majority are heifers first calves. We weaned them on November 1, 2015 and they went onto a haylage oat ration for the winter, then onto summer pasture. They are a good, solid group with not a lot of difference in their type.

All virgin bulls and NO feet trimmed. The weaning weights are actual weights on weaning day - November 1, 2015.

■ INSURANCE Insurance will be available on sale day and we ask that all cattle left be fully insured.

■ PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

■ DISPUTES In cases of dispute, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final.

■ LIABILITY MJT and staff accept no liability on sale day for accidents. However, all precautions will be taken to ensure safety.

■ HEALTH All animals will be sold in compliance with the health laws of Alberta. All sale bulls have been treated with IVOMEC. All bulls are vet inspected.

■ BREEDING GUARANTEE All bulls are guaranteed breeders.

The Standard Canadian Hereford and Canadian Angus Association guarantee applies. All bulls are semen tested and vet inspected. Under no circumstances shall MJT be responsible for more than the purchase price paid for the said animal.

■ ANNOUNCEMENTS Any announcements from the stand take priority over catalogued material.

■ MJT will offer a rebate of $150 per lot when picked up within 7 days of the sale.

■ MJT has the right to collect semen at their expense and the owners convenience on any bull sold.
