52 nd Annual Sale The Lundar Interlake Breeders of registered cattle wish you a hearty welcome to attend our 52nd Annual Lundar All Breed Beef Cattle Sale on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

The cattle entered are from leading herds in Manitoba. They will not be highly fitted, but ready to go to work.

The Lundar Bull Sale Committee dedicates our 52nd Annual Bull Sale to Steini Palsson. Steini passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 99 years. He was the last surviving founding member of the Lundar Bull Sale. Steini was also the first president of the bull sale, holding that position for 15 years.

He remained a director on the bull sale committee right up until his passing. He loved his Hereford cattle and believed they were the best breed in the world, and he was willing to tell you that, regardless of your breed involvement. He will be sadly missed, not only by the sale committee but an entire community. He had a good run; may he rest in peace.

BASKM Bank Note 29F is a bull with that extra performance. He is big boned, big bellied, with lots of length, a stout hip and lots of hair. His sire is the great Brooking Bank Note 4040, who’s done great things for the Angus breed. The Bank Note sons are highlights of our bull pen and 29F is no exception. 29F goes back to the great HF Rosebud 68Y cow, which has had a huge impact on our herd, with one of her daughters raising one of the high selling heifer calves at the Keystone Klassic Sale this year. This bull ranks in the top 25% of the breed for WW and YW. Recommended for cows.

His sire, Ring Creek Force 90Y, has left us a herd full of productive daughters, his dam, Lucy 244B, is a J Square S Fireman daughter that we purchased from Hamilton Farms from Cochrane, Alberta (two daughters retained in our herd). 65F has that nice small Angus head, with added length of body with an explosive hind quarter. This bull travels on a great set of feet and legs and will be able to service a large group of heifers for his new owner.
