Welcome to Justamere’ s 21st Annual Angus Sale of the Year. 2020, the year that changed the world, but none of us are sure if in a good way or a bad way. We hope you are all safe and healthy and enjoying your fall harvest. We, in agriculture, are very blessed that while the world shut down and stayed inside, we seeded crops, fixed equipment, built corrals, fixed fence, baled hay, fed cattle and worried about our family’s future. But…we all carried on! Why? Because we had to and because we wanted to. Business needs to go on, people need to eat, and they need it from safe, reliable sources. Agriculture is the shining example of what essential means. We are confident that the end of the craziness that is COVID-19 is near and the rebuilding of our society will happen and happen quickly. This year’s sale offering is our greatest effort to help move our Angus breed forward. The tremendous herd sire prospects are each outstanding in their own right and will Jon, Shelly, Tyra, Jon, Jim & Jorja definitely help shape our future, as well as our partners, whoever that may be. Lot 1, the incredible son of Turning Point out of the $140,000 Full Throttle dam is sure to excite. Lot 2, son of HA Relevant is destined for the show ring, we love his type and kind. Lot 3, the son of a first calf heifer by EXAR Cowboy Up 7288, has the quality and potential to be a breed leader in many traits. The bred heifer offering is being referred to by many as our best set ever. Anchored by the one of a kind, EXAR Zulu sired, EXAR Frontier Gal 9230 heifer as Lot 10. Excitement and enthusiasm abounds here for this great female. We have several unbelievable daughters of Sankeys Watchman 7020 that will blow your socks off. Also, some very deep, broody, anchor type females by Justamere Cash In 461A. These heifers carry AI service to the Alta Genetics sires, KR Pacesetter, Stevenson Turning Point, HLC GQ, Sankeys Watchman and they were cleaned up by a member of the Denver National Western Champion Angus Pen of 3, EXAR Entitlement 9743B, also our second highest selling bull sale 2020 highlight, Justamere BattleCry 709G, owned with Running Steady Ranch. This son of, now deceased, Musgrave Stunner 316 is sure to continue the future of his family lines. EXAR Resistol 829 finished up the season for us in the heifer pen. This son of EXAR Resistol is close to one of the best herd sires we have acquired from Express Ranches in recent times and we expect some great progeny in the near future from him. The show heifer offering is understandably smaller than normal in number of lots, but with no doubt, the most mind-blowing group of show cattle we have ever assembled. These six females are definitely the future. From the big numbered, big bodied Lot 4 and 6, AI daughters of Attractive and KR Pacesetter, to the amazing EXAR Ruth x Silveiras Style Lot 7, the Blue Chip daughter Lot 3, two heifers that will not miss being shown in 2020. The Sankeys Justified and the Sankeys Watchman heifer calves in Lots 5 and 8 round out this offering of one of a kind show heifers. This will be exciting to watch the future unfold in these great females. Our feature cow/calf pair are two amazing females that make me wonder if I have not lost my mind. A Cross Rita 1003 is just so damn good, you can not go wrong. She is deep, huge ribbed, beautiful fronted on a perfect set of feet and legs with an impeccable udder. Her heifer calf, by Semex AI sire, Varilek Geddes, is a total replica of her mother but with an incredible EPD profile. We will only sell one or the other or half interest in both females. This will be exciting to watch unfold. The final four cow/calf pairs are anchored by a tremendous two-year-old daughter of 4M Element 405, that is ready for the embryo pen herself. Her heifer calf is exciting and as always, these heifer calves are halter broke for the juniors that want to show one. Justamere Overdrive 504F was the service sire to these great cows and what an individual he has become. The embryo and semen section of our sale, again, offers rare and exclusive but rewarding genetics. Justamere Maga, Northern Improvement and 74-51 Sudden Look will help propel any program forward. This is our 21st Annual Sale Of The Year for the Angus at Justamere. 2020 has been a challenging year in many ways, however some positives are the consumer is becoming aware of how essential us in agriculture really are. This son of Stevenson Turning Point and out of none other than the $140,000 Justamere Full Throttle dam, Allegra of Tullamore 30W. His overall mass and muscle shape coupled with a powerful, yet balanced front end, makes him one, we feel very strongly about ,for future use and show ring potential. He weighed 911 pounds at the end of August. We still sell them by the pound at the commercial level, we want this type of performance with calving ease for our commercial customers. His sire was a past bull sale feature to Willow Spring Angus, Bruce Reimer at Kitscoty. We had the misfortune of losing him to an injury his first breeding season with no semen available, this makes this great calf a true opportunity. His mother is a beautiful South Dakota daughter with a great udder and very sound feet and legs. We love the future in this herd sire. He is entered in the Lloyd Fall Fair and we are excited to show him off.

Terms and Conditions Cattle Inspections: All carry permanent identity tags, corresponding to Sale Lot numbers. All cattle shall be available for inspection prior to sale. All Cattle Are Sold: Subject to such tests as required for export under regulations of the Health of Animals Branch, Department of Agriculture for Canada - those corresponding to Bureau of Animal Industry requirements. Breeding Guarantee: All cattle are sound and right, and all with a responsible breeder guarantee of satisfaction. In the event of any unlikely dispute, the regular terms and conditions, standard with the Canadian Aberdeen Angus Association shall apply. Pregnancy: Examinations shall have been conducted prior to sale on all serviced females.

Holding and Shipments: Approximately one week is required for export transfers and other documents to be processed. Export animals will be held at no charge and under excellent care. Joint export shipping arrangements to attain minimum shipping cost will gladly be made by the sale management if instructions to that effect are provided to clerk of the sale when settlement is made. Mail Bids: May be entrusted in complete confidence to any of the Sale Staff listed or to Justamere Farms Ltd. Insurance: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the Auctioneer’s hammer falls. Livestock coverage will be available at the clerk’s desk from the appointed representatives on sale day, also from the sale management at any time.

Announcements: Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announcements from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Terms of Sale: Are cash or cheque at par, payable to Clerks of the sale on Sale Day. U.S. Funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange. No release will be given until satisfactory settlement has been made. We reserve the right to withhold animals from export shipment for whom payments have not been recieved prior to departure times.
