Jewels & Diamonds Simmental Welcome the second annual Jewel and Diamonds sale. It is with great excitement and anticipation that we move into this fall sale season. As we look back at the past spring bull sale season, we reﬂect on the outstanding cattle buzz and excitement within the industry. Record prices were being set and producers were rewarded for their patience and willingness to adapt through some trying times. As we move forward, the progressive producers will restock herds with a younger, higher quality female to position themselves for the bountiful future that lies ahead. This year’s offering will have something for your every desire. Red or black, fullblood or purebred, these females are a group of brood matrons in the making. They have a very diverse genetic portfolio tied together with some of the freshest as well as some of the most proven matings available. This group of females is made from proven cow families without all the ﬂuff and puff. They are a good honest no nonsense set of cattle that have been assembled from proven producers within the industry. Now is the time to add females that will carry your own program forward and enable you to make progressive breeding decisions to position yourself as we restock the cow herd in North America. OTL 1Y is an animal we felt was good enough to show at the Camrose Bull Congressplaced second. Very good cow –thick, deep and ﬂeshy. We always felt her sire HP Ultra was the thickest most powerful homozygous bull in the industry and he is now proving that statement. Steve Jensen entered an Ultra calf in a test station in Texas and Ultra had the highest gain over all Simmental and Simmental crosses and was second of all breeds. Despite that very little progeny has been born out of him, everyone using him are very pleased. Her dam 7P was an all around top notch cow no one could fault. The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be ﬁnal. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Certificate of Registration

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Simmental Association. A certiﬁcate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Health

All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Guarantee

Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Simmental Association with regards to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and speciﬁc genetic unsoundness.

Pregnancy Information

All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.
