Welcome to the Third Annual J Square S Online Bull Sale Welcome!

It is a great honor to invite you to our Third Annual Online Bull Sale.

I am very excited to present this offering of our 2021 yearling bull calf crop. I would also like to thank all of our past customers for the purchases and confidence in our program.

As a family, we are very busy in many community and recreational activities. Jayla is now in grade 2 and Scottie is in Kindergarten. They are both active in skating lessons, gymnastics and like spending time at the beach in the summer. Jayla is also in her first year or 4-H and really enjoying it. Ally is a bright little girl who will be turning 2 in April and is interested in everything. I still continue to play rec hockey and Jacklyn plays Volleyball in a woman’s league.

We also co-hosted the Third Annual Female Focus Sale with our good friends at Hollinger Land and Cattle. Chad and I are excited to continue this sale next fall. We are very thankful and appreciative of all the support from new and previous customers though out the past three years.

We are continuing to use the DLMS Farmgate bidding platform this year. I feel this is an excellent format to sell our offering and enjoy working with the team at DLMS. Feel free to contact any one on their team for support if you need.

This year we have what I feel is an exceptional offering of yearling bulls. They are headlined by HF ALCATRAZ 60F, Conley South Point, Brooking Lexington and Prairie Gold. These bulls are herd sires that we truly believe in.

Over the years I have met many remarkable people and have been involved in really great partnerships. You will notice a couple of the lots on offer are owned with partners, feel free to contact them as well if you wish as they are as confident in the bulls on offer as I am.

Just like in the past we will offer free delivery or will aid in the delivery of your bulls. We would like to have the bulls to you by May 1, 2022 but can discuss options if they need to stay longer.

How To Bid

1. Visit https://farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account. It allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions.

This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots, or someone challenges your proxy bid. This is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number.

If you are a past participant in the Farm Gate Timed auctions, simply enter your username and password to continue. This takes you to a list of both current and upcoming Farm Gate Auctions. Select the J SQUARE S ONLINE BULL SALE. 2. You can choose your favourite lots in the sale at this time. The program will allow you to open either all sale lots, or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list, you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity.

3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you. But if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again, or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.

4. At closing time of the sale, the entire sale will extend bidding for 5 minutes if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after 7 PM will extend the sale by 5 minutes, from the time of that bid.

When no bidding occurs for 5 minutes, the computer will declare the sale finished.

5. Within 24 hours of the sale close, the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/pick up of your lot.

This past fall he was shown alongside his dam at Ag Ex in Brandon where the pair earned Reserve Champion Female. We also showed them as a pair at Agribition and were Reserve Two-Year-Old Champion. What can I say about the Forever Lady cow that hasn’t been said before. She has been an ultimate producer for us with 29 progeny registered to date and more to come. This past fall we sold pick of four full sisters to this bull and when the hammer fell, Blairs.AG was the winning bidder. Thank you Kevin. 129J is an ET calf whose recipient held on a little longer resulting in a bit more BW. I believe that this bull has all the charactistics to be an easy calving bull. Last year a maternal brother was selected by Adair Angus.

When I saw Conley South Point in the Wilbar stall at Agribition, I knew right away I wanted to utilize him in our program. An excellent heifer bull prospect that has all the tools to last a lifetime. This bull actually reminds me a lot of FF Stimulant Y40, a former herd bull here that we were able to use on heifers for 7 years.
