Welcome to another Impact Bull Sale. It has been quite humbling to see so many of the same faces year in and out supporting our program. Our focus of calving ease with a growth curve has continued as we evolve with new herd sires. Our herd has gotten smaller and the number of bulls smaller this year but the calving ease is probably even more evident in this group as ever before. Thank you again to Hales for feeding the balanced silage ration for us this year. We did wean a bit later this year and with the miserable winter, has been interesting to put on the usual gain but they will grow into the same bulls they’ve always been and I will continue to feed a good ration free of charge until whatever date you need your bull delivered.

It is hard to believe that another year has went by already! The daily ins and outs of the farm and raising quality Angus cattle have kept us busy here at J&S. It was another trying year on our farm due to the lack of moisture in our area, Mother Nature can be cruel some years!

The bulls that you will find on offer on March 23rd are second to none. They will have excellent growth, carcass, efficiency, maternal traits and will be far beyond the breed average in EPDs. These bulls are long, deep and are showing great muscle expression. So please come and join us on Saturday, March 23rd for your appraisal of our bulls and some fine hospitality.

We would like to welcome you to the 11th Annual Impact Bull Sale. Thanks to our many repeat buyers and bidders that have supported the sale since we started and to the Georges and Tetzlaffs for being great friends and partners.

It doesn’t matter what sale barn you sell your calves at, the Charolais sired calves are always the first to start their presort sales. The Charolais calves demand top dollar, buyer support and best return for the producer.

This year’s offering of bulls are a sound, hairy group with a variance of birth weights for you to select from. The addition of the Direct Deposit sired calves have left us a deep bodied, hairy group, with great performance and style.

The bulls are available for viewing anytime on the farm and a couple days prior to the sale at SLS. Come early sale day and view the bulls and be our guest for lunch at noon.

Welcome to the 11th Annual Impact Angus and Charolais Bull Sale, Saturday, March 23rd at Saskatoon Livestock Sales, off Highway #14, west of Saskatoon. From its inception eleven years ago, these young prominent purebred breeders have been the suppliers of bulls with fresh genetics, diversity and affordability. Each operation earns their sole livelihood from agriculture and are always knee deep in community involvement and junior activities…the fundamental core of raising a family in a livestock environment.

The success of this sale is the result of repeat buyers, the true test of quality and customer service. Although each breeder is competitive on the show scene, with championships from here to the Toronto Royal Winter Fair, the main goal of each operation is to consistently raise sires that will give their customers added value whether it’s in the sale barn or feedlot.

McAvoy Charolais have become very prominent in Charolais circles, as both breeders and ranchers are getting to know their high standard of quality.

Their 2019 lineup is the largest ever in number and quality runs deeper in the group. Lots of hair, testicle, thickness and ruggedness.

Jason of J & S Cattle brings you the best group of black bulls he has ever brought to town. Performance plus these prospects come complete with high maternal traits and a high degree of soundness due to the hilly terrain they run on during summer and a high fiber common sense ration after weaning.

Randy at Triple L adds both Angus dimensions, red and black. Included in the offering are members of the show team suitable for all types of programs.

His red bulls will add the calving ease dimension and these bulls, both red and black, will give you high maternal values for your replacement pasture and carcass values for the feedlot.

Since each breed compliments the other, the Impact Sale becomes a one-stop shopping center for all your herd sire needs. We all know the advantage of “green tagged” calves at the sale barn and “silvers”, wow do they grow and sell! Feel free to visit anyone of these breeders at their farms prior the sale or give them a call to discuss your needs and the bulls that they would recommend, they love to talk cattle. For those who cannot attend, we offer a sight-unseen purchase program. Call us with your needs (birth weight, frame, weight, etc.) and we will recommend suitable bulls. We will deliver the bulls to you with a satisfaction guarantee. Your order will be handled in strict confidence. Call Jason, Randy, Mike or any of the sale staff.

Example: A bull who will add 30 lbs. to the weaning weight of each of his calves, mated to 25 cows per year for 4 years, and you sell his calves for $1.00 per pound.

30 lbs x 25 cows= 750 x 4 years = 3000 x $1.00/lbs. = $3,000.00 This bull is worth $3,000.00 more than the average bull who will keep your weaning weights the same. Take this formula and put your own figures in and see what you can afford to pay. This equation does not take into consideration the increase in value due to calving ease, higher quality replacement heifers, yearling growth, feedlot gain and improved carcass quality.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association or Canadian Charolais Association, unless otherwise specified. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Health: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. the sellers, facility owner, auctioneer and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may, in exceptional cases, be taken must be between the buyer and seller.
