You Ought to Know...

2015 will go down in history as a pivotal year of change... a change to the left throughout the world.

In Canada, two elections will definitely affect our somewhat stable economy. The landslide “Orange� victory in Alberta has already exposed scary forecasts in one of Canada’s leading provinces... then to add insult to injury Premier Notley introduces Bill C6 to add socialistic direction to the agricultural sector and the sacred farm way of life. The Liberal sweep on the federal scene has put a cloud of uncertainty over the nation. Our inexperienced Prime Minister is spending money as if he won a lottery... he will need plenty to fulfill the election promises. What is most amazing... throughout the longest election campaign in history, agriculture was forgotten on the election platforms!

Yet through a year of political unrest, bombings and terrorist threats, the livestock industry has had a very favorable twelve months. Producers who marketed grass cattle and stockers in early fall received the largest price per pound payout in history. In the remaining part of the fall, the market has been correcting (and needed a correction since no commodity can go straight up)...but all who produce beef cattle can be thankful they are not in the oil business. In the December period, the market has tested valuable and vulnerable trend lines which to date have maintained their bull position.

All beef breeds have shared equally in the rewards of a good cattle market, with purebred production and consignment sales setting record gross and average figures. In female replacement markets, white faced females demanded an aggressive premium whether they were baldies, blazes or straight-breds.... this bodes very favorably for producers of Hereford and Hereford influenced breeding stock.

The Canadian Hereford Industry was a leader in the development of youth in agriculture throughout the nation, forming the first national beef breed junior organization, the Canadian Junior Hereford Association, and since, its structure has been copied by many other breeds in developing their own junior bodies. The formation began in 1963 when the CHA introduced the first junior memberships for young adults under the age of twenty-one years. In 1967, Dr. Bob Watson and Phil Schleihauf, former president of the CHA, assisted in establishing the Canadian Junior Hereford Council. The first National Junior Show, Bonanza, was hosted in Red Deer, Alberta in 1980...A celebration of youth and livestock hosted throughout different provinces annually in late July and early August. Former manager of the Canadian Hereford Association, Duncan Porteous was a driving force in the structuring and guidance of juniors...He will tell you that there is a warm satisfaction in looking back at many of the alumni and their successes in life. The following is just one of many Canadian Junior Hereford Association graduates who maintain and strive to make the Hereford breed and those around it strong and successful.

The family homesteaded in Fillmore, Saskatchewan and operated a mixed farm like many settlers in the early nineteen hundreds.

Dan and Lola O’Connor, Rob’s grandparents, were both in the army and met during World War II. At the conclusion of the war, they moved to Fillmore, married, and moved to the family farm. The couple raised three sons and three daughters on their small mixed farm.

Many farm boys in that era sought offfarm employment and such was the case for Rob’s father, Dick, the middle child of the three boys.

Rob recalls, “One of Dad’s fond memories is working for the great Justamere show team at the first Canadian Western Agribition where they exhibited Grand Champion Bull and Grand Champion Female.”

While showing Herefords at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Dick O’Connor met Evelyn Yusko, daughter of Walter Yusko who owned Almira Hereford Farm, Stouffville, Ontario. The Almira Hereford herd was famous and very competitive in Eastern Canada winning the elite Royal Winter Fair on several occasions. In 1977, Almira won Grand Champion Bull, Grand Champion Female, Get of Sire and Breeders Herd at all nine major shows in Ontario. Dick took a job with Almira and shortly after the couple married.

In 1973, Rob O’Connor was born in New Market, Ontario.

A year later, the couple moved to Spy Hill, Saskatchewan, where Dick assumed the position of herdsman for Twin J Polled Herefords, owned by Walter and Shorty Johnson.

After six very successful years with Twin J at Regina Bull Sale and an annual production sale, Dick, Evelyn and son Rob returned to Almira and grandfather’s farm.

After working at Twin J, Rob’s parents moved to Kisbey, Saskatchewan and they lived there until 1984. His parents created a fitting service that they titled Lone Pine Cattle Services.

Desiree 90U - 1987 Toronto Royal Winter Fair Highlights of that Grand Champion Female time frame include showing the High Selling Bull at Regina Bull Sale for Dr. Reg Newell for $56,000 and winning the Grand Champion Female honours at the Royal Winter Fair for Lloyd Radburn.

They also began a select purebred herd and the Canadian Hereford Association provided them with the tattoo letters and prefix of “XLP” instead of the initials LP because those letters were already reserved for another breeder.

(The freeze brand XLP used today, was later added to the program when Rob and Dawn ACTION ET 75Z moved back to 2014 Agribition Reserve Champion Bull Saskatchewan.)

“Back then Stouffville had a population of around seventeen thousand and it’s somewhere around seventy thousand now...a suburb of Toronto.”

Rob O’Connor attended school and graduated from Stouffville High. Upon graduating, he returned to the farm for a couple of years and established 29

his new herd and program, “Lone Pine Cattle Services.”

Throughout his high school and university years, he fitted cattle for breeders and sold semen, putting all his earnings into breeding stock. Ready for independence, O’Connor acquired a small farm site with enough grass for his small herd at Mount Forest, Ontario off highway 6. He was hired by a Purina dealer and for the next three years, worked as a feed salesman during the week and custom fitted on weekends. Lone Pine hosted two consignment sales while at Mount Forest, involving smaller breeders that did not have enough cattle to Bye Vista Lad - 1995 Toronto Royal Winter Fair Reserve Champion Bull host their own event, yet needed a marketing avenue.

In 2000, Rob and Dawn came west along with the yellow truck. They married and stayed in Regina looking for an affordable farmstead for the growing cow herd, which was split up and being cared for by Peter Kirby, Phil and Sharon Zampino, Kevin Aitken, and Dawn’s father, Ron Forrest. Later that fall, the couple found a farm located two miles north of the community of Vibank, Saskatchewan... a forty-five minute commute to downtown Regina. They took possession in December 2001. Dawn was nursing at Regina General Hospital and Rob looked for off-farm employment.

And the show did grow! By changing the name to Canada’s Farm Progress Show, within a few months the Federal Government showed more interest, which Reese’s Action 500C - 2015 Agribition Reserve made funding Senior Heifer Calf Champion more accessible to increase the show’s reach for off shore promotions and bringing international buyers to the show. The number of exhibitors increased from four hundred and fifty to seven hundred and fifty and revenue for the Regina Exhibition more than tripled. The international business side grew from two hundred buyers to seven hundred buyers. Rob relates an interesting story about international buyers. “There was this one fellow that flew his own private jet from Kazakhstan .... He was twenty-seven years old and although I did not meet him in person, I did get to see him at the international business center. The international business reception is somewhat formal casual, but not black tie. So here is this guy with a surplus army jacket and some khaki pants and I am wondering what this guy is doing here... but before I could say anything, a representative from the federal government taps me on the shoulder and says do you see that guy? On the first day of the show he bought twenty headers and twenty air seeders. This twenty-seven year old man owned 1,926 square kilometers of land in Kazakhstan in which two towns are situated.

The town sites are his property and the entire population of the two towns are his employees. That is the impact the show has had on an international level.”

On January 2, 2001 he was hired by the Regina Exhibition Association as Agricultural Co-ordinator. His duties were to secure and administer agriculture rentals.

These events included many equine activities, the Spring Steer and Heifer Show and the Regina Bull Sale which are part of that show. In addition to these duties, O’Connor was assigned the position of demonstrations co-ordinator at the Western Canada Farm Progress Show which was held each June. Rob recalls, “Back Jessica preparing to show her then there was still a race track and first heifer at Beef-A-Rama infield so we were able to have high clearance sprayers and some GPS demonstrations. GPS was new to the entire agricultural market. After two years, I knew many of the exhibitors and when the manager of the show moved on to another opportunity, I was offered the job. Over the next decade, I managed the event and the name changed to Canada’s Farm Progress Show.”

Rob was contacted by a head hunter while attending a trade show in Germany. It was for the position of General Manger of the Manitoba Provincial Exhibition.

With a new football stadium at Regina Exhibition Park and changes being made there, he accepted and was hired for the position. But after three months into his new job, Rob was contacted by another group who wanted to develop an outdoor farm show in Western Canada.

The challenge was alluring and the group ...even more alluring ...Glacier Farm Media... the owners of The Western Producer, The Cattlemen’s, The Manitoba XLP Showtime Co-operator, The 2011 Regina Bull Sale Grand Champion Bull Country Guide and

Canadian Western Agribition and the Royal Winter Fair are magnetic to young people who love showing and fitting cattle and Rob O’Connor was a loyal participant. Following in his father’s footsteps, he met the love of his life at a cattle show...

Agribition. Dawn Forrest from Grenfell, Saskatchewan was in her final year at the College of Nursing when they became acquainted. Once Dawn graduated, she moved to Ontario but a few months later, the couple decided to move west permanently.

various other publications. In addition, they purchased Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show out of Woodstock, Ontario.

He offered a proposal and accepted the challenge. After surveying Western Canada, the group selected and acquired land on the Yellowhead highway, a twenty minute drive west of Saskatoon. The premiere for Ag in Motion, Western Canada’s Outdoor Farm show debuted in mid July 2015 and was an overwhelming success, both in attendance and exhibitor satisfaction. The crop plots were exceptional, as thousands inspected the new varieties and the hands-on equipment demonstrations were a big hit. Plans are being set to offer livestock displays in future years.

The O’Connors have two daughters – Lexie who is nine and Jessica who is five...both members of the Canadian Junior Hereford Association.....Lexie attended her first Bonanza at the age of five.

The Canadian Junior Hereford Association has been and remains a very important part of the O’Connor family and Lone Pine Cattle Services.

Rob was a member of the CJHA council, 2015 Ag-Ex Premier Breeder and Exhibitor a co-chairman of Bonanza and President of the CJHA. He exhibited the 1993 Bonanza Champion Female hosted by the Province of Quebec. Rob recalls, “That was probably the best show of my life because that heifer was one I had bred and owned.

My dad bought her grandmother for me when I was nine years old at Brandon Ag-Ex. That female moved with us from Saskatchewan to Ontario and that’s where that whole family came out of...the Fantasia family. It made an important impression on me... the value of cow families!”

The O’Connor commitment to juniors continues as Lone Pine Cattle Services have hosted Saskatchewan’s Beef-ARama for the past five consecutive years. Rob states, “We held the first one at the farm with seventeen head of cattle and ten juniors.” They then moved it to the Glenavon Skating Rink for three years and in 2015, it came back to Lone Pine with sixty-nine head of cattle and thirty-seven juniors.

Rob’s experience in the Canadian Junior Hereford program had a strong effect on him. With Dawn’s help they decided to host the Saskatchewan Junior Beef-A-Rama. “It’s an opportunity for young Hereford enthusiasts and their families to show their cattle in a low stress environment. The focus is to visit with friends and for the children to be rewarded for the hard work and effort they put into their cattle. It’s also an opportunity to casually introduce people to the Hereford Show circuit. It’s our way of giving back to this community.” Dawn takes a leading role. She plans the events, recruits

volunteers, judges and sponsors. While Rob prepares class lists and offers to help kids with cattle on show day. The Lone Pine herd has been as high as 400 head, but due to the opportunity with Ag in Motion, they will calve 130 head this spring. Their land base consists of four hundred and eighty acres deeded, with another three 2015 Beef-A-Rama hundred and twenty 3 head from a family class leased. They put up a small amount of hay and source the rest, as they do with their grain, which comes in a complete ration.

The main goal for Rob and Dawn is to raise their children in a livestock setting and produce quality rancher bulls. Rob stated, “When I lived in Ontario, I always envied the guys out west that could sell 10, 30, 50 bulls a year and in Ontario, we were lucky if we could sell 3 and just get a few dollars over market. So when we made the decision to establish in the west, we set a goal and a plan to build a cow herd strong enough to produce multiple packages of look-a-like bulls. To sell a bull off the yard for $8000.00 at one time was a fantasy, but it has grown into a reality.”

Rob states, “I was never concerned about a little paste to get rid of the horns...just thought it was something I should do. Why throw away good genetics because of a horn or a scur.

Prior to BSE, there were several Saskatchewan breeder consignment sales whose producers needed an avenue to market a few females promoting their programs, but since, these sales have disappeared, so Rob and Dawn founded and host a sale the third Friday in October called Hereford Harvest.

They invited a group of breeders who fit their criteria. Lone Pine features a Action ET 75Z - 2014 Manitoba Livestock Expo Supreme Champion Bull cross-section of their program without depleting their female base. The event has proven to be very successful attracting buyers from various provinces and states.

What has been your biggest victory in the Hereford business?

By using the best Hereford genetics available to us, we have had some wonderful LLCH Minstrel ET 131M wins at shows like Agribition and Ag-Ex, which has helped to market our bulls, females and steers. Selling cattle with the XLP freeze brand on the left hip makes us proud. But the biggest victories we have had are hosting successful events like Beef-a-Rama, the Hereford Harvest Sale and Canada’s Red, White and Black Sale. We are proud of the Hereford breed and want to showcase it every chance we can. These three events accomplish that goal in a fashion that offers people who want to be a part of the Hereford fraternity a place to participate.

Shorty had a problem, not anything life threatening, but a problem. A couple of years ago, he had picked out a new dog. He named the pup Sam and had spent most of the last two years turning Sam into a cow dog.

Sam was doing pretty well in his new job as Shorty’s newest, and often, only help. He was attentive, willing and obedient, but he did have a bad habit that was, at the very least annoying and much more frequently, a disaster. Sam barked... loudly and far too often.

Shorty tried everything. He scolded, Sam barked. He ignored, Sam barked. He cussed, Sam barked. And so it was that Shorty found himself in town one Saturday morning with not much to do while he waited for his wife. He wandered around the mall until he found himself in front of a big box pet store.

Shorty walked in and began looking around the crowded displays for anything that would help solve Sam’s need to express himself. In the back corner of the store, Shorty found a whole wall of devices that were intended to aid in the training of all sorts of dogs. Shorty was somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the display and nearly turned around, but, as luck would have it, there in front of him, stood a store clerk.

“Can I help you… Dude?”

Shorty stared at a tall, skinny kid, with long, stringy hair and a sparse attempt at a beard. He wore a golf shirt with the store’s name on the left chest and hung down over a pair of baggy blue jeans that rode way too low on his skinny butt.

“Huh?” stammered Shorty.

“Ahh… can I help you Dude?”

Shorty looked at the kid and noticed for the first time that he had several piercings, one in each eyebrow, a few in his ears and one that run through his nose, like a bull ring, but instead of being a complete circle, it had a gap in the middle with a small ball on each end. As if the piercings weren’t enough, this kid had a snake tattoo around his neck.

Shorty swallowed. “I was just checking out these things” as he motioned towards the training aids.

“You gotta dog Dude?”

“Yup” “What’s the problem… Dude?”

“He barks too much.”

“Bummer! There must be something in here that will help” “You ever trained any dogs that barked too much?” Shorty asked.

“Oh no Dude, I hate dogs.”

Shorty started to leave.

“Hey Dude… wait a minute.” The kid turned away.

“Hey Aaron… come here for a minute!” He turned back to Shorty, “Aaron is pretty good with dogs.”

Shorty and his customer service specialist stood there while a slightly older young man approached them. Aaron lacked the piercings, but had chosen several tattoos to adorn his skinny arms.

“What do you need?” asked Aaron.

Shorty stared at the kid as he removed a black, studded collar from his skinny neck, handed it to Aaron and fastened the shock collar around his own neck. What struck Shorty as strange was that he hadn’t even noticed that the kid was wearing the collar in the first place.

Aaron stared at his fellow employee. “Huh?” “How does this thing work?” The kid repeated softly.

“Well, when the dog barks the barking causes the collar to activate and delivers a mild shock to the dog.”

After graduating school, he worked on a purebred Hereford ranch, then assumed a position at Western Breeders Artificial Insemination Unit. In 1980, he left the livestock scene and joined the Edmonton Police Department, where he received his formal training in photography, working for the IDENT unit (crime scene investigation). Grant and Lauralee travel throughout nine provinces in Canada for on farm photography, in addition to all major livestock shows, including the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, the Canadian Western Agribition, and all major National Junior shows in the summer months. Practical Tips on Scours Prevention and Colostrum Management

By Roy Lewis DVM A few changes regarding scours prevention or colostrum management can make a huge difference in preventing the first case of scours or other infectious diseases on your operation come spring. Hopefully this article may offer a few helpful hints regarding prevention of the first infectious case, which can quickly spread to others. This is becoming ever so critical as herds become larger and labor is scarce. By increasing biosecurity around the farm, bumping up the immune status and bolstering colostrum uptake where necessary, a lot of these disease processes can at least be minimized. If there is an outbreak one must have a plan then to minimize its spread within the herd otherwise, before we know it an outbreak has occurred.

We all know how critical colostrum uptake is in the first six hours of life and that the quality must be there as well. Good nutrition and proper vaccination of the cow herd helps boost colostral immunity. If in doubt, especially with your heifers, colostral immunity can be checked by a colostrometer, or a brix refractometer that essentially measures the predicted immunoglobulin levels in the colostrum. It is accepted that in order to maintain biosecurity it is best to not use dairy colostrum as diseases such as Johne’s disease, can be brought onto your premises by the colostrum. It is best to save and freeze some colostrum from a good milking cow on your farm or have several bags of the good quality colostrum products (such as headstart) that are on the market on hand. These products are manufactured in such a way that infectious disease transmission should be stopped or at least greatly minimized. However, cleanliness when giving it is imperative so I always insist producers start with a new esophageal feeder every spring and use it on newborn calves. Use a different one if drenching sick calves (label each accordingly) disinfect at least the tube in-between uses and wash all your equipment as often as you can.

Watch slow calves, harder pulls, backward calves and premature calves for signs that they have nursed. At my home farm the rule is if any cow is assisted and in the calving chute the cow is milked and the calf is given at least some colostrum to get if off to a good start. It is surprising when milking cows we find blocked teats plugged teats or just poor milkers and these can be identified quickly and culled. Udder conformation should be closely watched when selecting heifers and any cows with low-slung bags or larger teats, it is best to supplement their calf and possibly adopt to another cow if the opportunity arises. With the “wild�

cow, their calves are always at risk of inadequate colostral uptake.

If there is any doubt at all that a calf is slow at nursing tattoo ink is put above his nose so we can at least see if he is attempting to nurse. With recent work at University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine by Dr. Elizabeth Homerosky, checking the suckle reflex is a great indication if a calf will suck. If a non-existent or weak suckle reflex is evident when checked 20 minutes after being born, colostrum should be administered. One liter to 1.5 liters is what we strive for. We all love to hear the sound of a calf slurping milk but in busy operations or calves born at pasture that is not always possible. There is no harm in even supplementing a calf with a bag of a colostrum substitute if you believe colostrum uptake has been somewhat deficient. The time to make that decision is in the first few hours of life. If there is any doubt of colostrum uptake, a blood test can be taken and checked by your veterinarian and the total protein checked. I use the scale of above 6 is adequate, 5 to 6 is borderline and below 5 there has been inadequate colostral uptake. This is not an absolute guarantee that the calf will get sick but I would isolate until one knows for sure.

Many studies have been done over the years and inadequate colostral uptake leads to increased respiratory disease in the feedlot, so this critical process essentially affects the calf for the rest of its life. If in doubt have the colostrum checked if your veterinarian has a refractometer or colostrometer and when in doubt have the blood checked if there is some doubt whether colostrum was received.

Protection from many diseases comes initially through the colostrum, so recognizing the need of when to supplement can reap huge benefits if we can prevent the first scours case from developing. Organisms that gain access when immune systems are not functioning properly such as the protozoal diseases (coccidiosis or cryptosporidiosis) may not manifest themselves in calves with adequate colostral uptake. If scours, coccidiosis or cryptosporidiosis do occur those calves with inadequate colostral uptake will be the first to get sick and spread it to the others. Prevention of disease is paramount in the calving period and extra effort put into colostral uptake will give huge returns in the form of less sickness, treatment costs and death down the line. There is also a huge labor saving in not having to treat sick calves. At calving time extra time is very welcomed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Biography: Dr. Colin Palmer is an Associate Professor of Theriogenology (Animal Reproduction) at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Palmer worked in mixed practices in Ontario and British Columbia and has owned/operated a practice in Saskatchewan. Bull Inventory and Breeding Program Assessment Beef cow performance goals are relatively simple - a cow should produce a calf every 12 months, and 90% or more of the cows should calve within a 60-day period.

Short, well defined calving seasons are the cornerstone of efficient and economical herd management. Almost without saying, it widely recognized that uniform groups of calves can be more easily managed for branding, vaccination, castration, weaning, weighing and ultimately for sale. In turn, the cow herd can also be more easily managed. Vaccination programs; especially, when employing modified live viral vaccines; artificial insemination programs, observation of breeding activity at pasture; pregnancy testing; feeding; and assessment of calf performance are most effective with tightly managed calving periods.

Short breeding seasons require highly fertile cattle. Since a breeding bull is responsible for siring 25 to 50 calves his genetic influence on calf quality, and the potential economic risk due to subfertility is far greater than that of an individual cow. Only highly fertile bulls are capable of breeding 25 or more cows in such a short period of time. Beef bull cull rates are much higher than that of cows. Cow cull rates are typically targeted at 10 – 15% whereas, bull cull rates approach 30% in many herds. Reviews of breeding soundness evaluation data report that 10% to 20% of mature bulls will fail each year. Lameness, injury, bad behavior, old age, risk of inbreeding and poor performance are other common reasons for culling. Lackluster breeding performance or an outright inability to breed are not infrequent occurrences affecting an additional 10 to 20% bulls who would otherwise be considered normal. All bulls should be observed when breeding to ensure that problems are identified quickly. For all but the most minor injuries it is best to find a replacement. Lameness due to foot rot, or any other cause can have a profound effect on breeding performance. Not only will he be unable to detect heat and service cows, but research has shown that semen

quality will be unsatisfactory for 6 weeks to 2 months after the onset of the lameness despite timely treatment.

Having access to backup bulls is a good plan for any herd which usually means purchasing more bulls than needed.

Tools used for bull selection include 1) eyeballing – physical appearance, presence/ absence of horns, temperament etc.; 2) reputation of the breeder; 3) performance data – birth weight, weaning weight, yearling; indexes; 4) expected progeny differences (EPDs); 5) pedigree/ performance of relatives; 6) breeding soundness evaluation/ scrotal circumference; and 7) price/ purchase incentives. As a veterinarian, I might argue that only some of these tools are important, or that some are more important than others; however, my experience as cattle producer supports a different conclusion. Everyone of those tools plus any tools that may be developed in the future are useful. The real danger is in only using one or two. Many bull buyers are focused on birth weight and price paying little mind to what they may be sacrificing. For most, bulls represent the only new genetic infusion into their cattle herds. Nature has dictated that a cow can only produce a single calf in a year, yet bulls can sire several; therefore, genetic change is much more efficient through the selection of bulls. If you interested in exploring a change in your herd, but don’t want to make a huge commitment you should consider artificial insemination. With a bit of management, estrus synchronization technology and hiring some technical expertise this can be a cost-effective to try something new. Kind of like getting the milk without buying the cow!

Crossbreeding, for example, is old technology, that is increasingly becoming underutilized yet it is the cheapest, most effective way to improve herd performance.

The bottom line… get comfortable with purchasing bulls.

Develop some goals for your herd. Do some shopping around to find what you need to meet your goals. Ask lots of questions.

We are pleased to announce that the eighth annual T Bar Invitational golf tournament was again, an overwhelming success, raising close to $50,000.00 for youth in the beef industry.

Eight national junior breed associations, representing nearly 2,000 members, will reap rewards because of the generosity of sponsors. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Canadian Western Agribition, Manitoba Youth Beef Roundup, Summer Synergy, Stockade Roundup and the Young Ranchman’s All Breeds Livestock Show which all host junior interbreed events.

A successful social featuring a wine and spirit tasting sponsored by Alta Genetics was held on the night of June 23rd at the office of T Bar C Cattle, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The next morning, golfers were treated to a presentation by Brad Wildeman President of Pound-Maker Investments Ltd. while at breakfast, hosted by the Dakota Dunes Casino. Shortly after, golfers of all ages and skill levels took to the course for golf, friendship and good cheer. The evening finished with an awards banquet and presentation of the T Bar Invitational champions trophy.

“We are extremely happy with this year’s event. With the help of our generous sponsors, we have raised over $350,000.00, which has provided opportunities to a great number of youth” said Bryan Kostiuk, co-chairman of the tournament. “The tournament encompasses people from all segments of the industry as well as those who supported a great cause.”
