Welcome to our 13th Annual Bull Sale. This year we have a bigger offering of AI sired bulls. With the decision of going to a bigger AI program, we went to Montana to the AI studs to pick out bulls that would contribute profitable and predictable traits that would add to our herd and our customer’s herds. Our bulls are sired by some of the breed’s most popular sires, such as Hesston, Renown, Cutting Edge, PVF Insight and proven calving ease sire, Mohnen Pulse. The Merit Stoney Creek bulls are very correct and shapely with good growth, backed up with high maternal. Bulls Have been treated with Fusogard foot rot vaccine. We are happy to be working alongside the Andersons again, offering a larger selection of good Black Angus bulls. This year’s offering has us as excited as ever. We have our last sons that will sell out of our good proven herd sire, Motive. We have a lot more Lutes on offer and a few from our upcoming sire, Radius, that we are excited about. All of our bulls are raised with the commercial cattlemen in mind, as we are commercial cattlemen at heart, as we also calve out close to 250 commercial cows. From the Desk at T Bar… Welcome to Anderson’s Four Bar X Ranch and CMT Farms Black Angus Spring Bull Sale, April 1, 2019 at Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. I hope that no one is superstitious as this is the 13th sale for Kevin and Becky held on April Fool’s day, but it is a Monday... what we know for certain is that the same fool is still running our country. There is no fooling about the great set of bulls that the Andersons and Chad are bringing to town. After the month or two of hell we have had this winter, mother nature reminded us about the basics of breeding cattle. Never has the trait of hair been so important, then add easy fleshing, high conversion and efficiency, which dictate your bottom line. The bulls on offer on April 1st are conditioned and bred to be rugged and sound… those traits will be bred into their daughters, the ones that you will be retaining as replacements.

Kevin, being a pasture manager, understands the requirements of bulls running in bush pastures up in the northern grazing zone. It is with this understanding that the Four Bar X herd was built upon. Soundness of feet and udder, high fertility in the herd and sires, these deep bodied, roomy cows are efficient on pasture whatever mother nature throws at them. This is a seasoned cow herd with predictability. On the same level, Chad’s program is based on predictability and customer needs. GUARANTEE: Each animal becomes the purchaserâ€™s risk immediately after the animal is sold.
