We would like to welcome everyone to our 18th annual bull sale at Wheatland Cattle Company at the ranch near Bienfait, SK on March 24. We would like to thank our customers, friends and family for your loyal support over the years. Without your support and help along the way none of this is possible. We are a family run operation and take every aspect of the cattle business seriously. Cattle have always been our passion but more importantly it’s how we make a living! We are always trying to produce the most profitable, convenient product to increase your bottom line. This past year presented many challenges for all of us with serve drought and dealing with all the other issues we are facing in today’s world. However, its truly inspiring with the perseverance of those within our industry and how everyone always finds the optimism to push forward. We have spent a lifetime in the cow business and understand the essential traits of a functional cowherd. It’s with our customers support that our program has reached milestones we never thought were possible. This past fall at Agribtion we were honored to exhibit the National Grand Champion Simmental bull and the Reserve Grand Champion Angus bull. These same cattle we show are the same cattle that perform in the real world and get it done for our customers. We truly do believe our biggest asset lies within our cowherd. 50 years of building around udders, feet, fertility, fleshing ability and disposition. We encourage people to tour our cowherd when looking at the bulls because we want you to know the mother to your bull has met the standard. 2022 will mark our largest offering to date. The selection will be great. Whether you’re searching for Simmental, Angus or Hybrid bulls there is something for everyone. There will also be some new exciting sire groups such as Wheatland Man O War. The calf prices have remained strong and commercial bred heifer market was in high demand this fall. This cow business is going to get really good so don’t miss out on the opportunity to purchase the herd bulls that will reap an extra dollar for those big heavy steers and fancy replacement heifers. We would sure enjoy talking about selecting your next bull with you. Our focus has always been on the commercial cowman. We take great pride in our customer service, from delivering the bulls, to follow up calls and touring your operation to understand what makes your ranch profitable.
