What a rewarding and interesting year it has been. Since last year’s sale, we have truly had one of the most exciting years to date, notably RSK E 2046 Digby ET 20C being named National Champion Bull at CWA. Our bull sale went great and the 2018 calf crop is looking amazing. Even with the dry conditions of this past summer, everything has fallen into place and we look forward to showcasing our best in this year’s sale.

Over the past few years we have added some major herd bull power to our Hereford herd. Bulls like Digby, Truman, All In, Leader and Can-Am, to name a few, have played a major roll for us.

This is evident in the heifer calves in this year’s sale. They are simply beauties and I know they will have a major impact for their new owners, in the ring and at home. The bred females are a power group again this year, sired by Harlen, Can-Am and Titelest. They are carrying service to Truman and Cool Water.

We are thankful to have Winchester Polled Herefords, Fossay Herefords and Richaud Stock Farms as guests in this year’s event. They have added some extra genetics and a great set of females to this year’s offering.

The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals are guaranteed by the seller to be DLF, IEF, HYF. When we had the opportunity to flush RSK Miss Sage 64Y to Full Bottle there was not a doubt in my mind about how good they would be. Full Bottle adds a new outcross to the great Sage cow family and compliments Miss Sage 64Y very well.

Full of body and power, great shape and strong structured, cherry colored and red eyed, are all embodied in these great heifer calves. This will be the last ever RSK 64Y direct daughter that we will sell. The impact that the “Sage” cow family has had on our program and many others has been tremendous. • Emily 2E is a soggy, deep bodied heifer that comes from one of our top producing cows. Her dam was Reserve Senior Champion Female at Ag-Ex in 2014. We are supremely impressed with the udder suspension and longevity of this cow family crossed with our Leveldale Zorro bull. Her maternal strength will leave you with a daughter that you will find in your replacement pen the following year. Due to a zealous three year old bull and an apparently not good enough gate, 2E is bred to either RVP Z400 Edison 18E or Tri-Ac 500U Cam 37C.
