Welcome Welcome to the 2020 edition of the EKW Red Angus bull catalogue. It is our pleasure to put forward this line-up of breeding bulls for you to evaluate and select from to meet your breeding bull needs for 2020. This group of bulls continues our breeding philosophy of cattle that produce more with less. Seed stock raised under strictly ranch conditions that are absolutely real-world tested. The bulls are a good set!

Life brings constant change. In the late summer of 2019, Martha and I got married. In the midst of the struggle with the elements of uncooperative nature, I must say we have had a most blessed fall and winter! We look forward to raising livestock as a family affair for many years to come.

We strive to utilize marginal land profitability with seed stock Red Angus cattle that excel.

First, they excel maternally; calving ease, mothering, fertility, milking ability, and longevity.

The bulls are muscular and masculine. The females are feminine, good uddered, and functional.

We invite you to find your next beef bull in our bull pen. They will be semen tested in April, and delivered to your yard. Our goal continues to be happy, profitable, and satisfied customers.

$1,500 Deposit per bull when you select your new bull or bulls. Balance due when delivered or picked up.

OR PAYMENT IN FULL when selecting your new bull or bulls.

Boarding

Bull Guarantee

EKW Red Angus guarantees to sell you a bull in good health that has the ability to settle cows, is sound on his feet and will pass a semen test. Bulls will be semen tested in April prior to delivery. In case of breeding incapability, we will replace the bull with a bull of equal value. In no event does this guarantee exceed the purchase price of the bull. We take full responsibility for the bulls until the bulls are in your care, i.e.; they are loaded on your trailer or arrive at your farm.

All bulls can be boarded free until May 31, 2020. All bulls can be boarded beyond May 31, 2020 for a $100 charge, (per bull) which will include regular delivery.

This guarantee does not cover mismanagement, injury or death after he is in his new owner’s care.

Delivery or Pick Up

However, should an accident happen, we will do our best to get your cows bred with one of our EKW Red Angus Bulls.

1. All bulls sold in Saskatchewan, delivered free of charge. All bull purchases totaling $5000 or more will be delivered free of charge in Alberta or Manitoba as well. Bulls to be delivered by May 31, 2020.

2. Bulls may stay longer than May 31, 2020; a $100 charge will be added to these bulls which will include delivery.

Pedigree Estimates Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.

The Bull Ration All bulls are fed together. They are being developed on grass hay, oats, green-feed, and a protein supplement with a mineral package. They are pail-fed, and grown slowly and steadily to maximize longevity, health, and breeding ability.

Just a suggestion. Buy this bull before we change our minds about selling him. He bred cows here in 2019 and WOW! Based on his first calves, he will be a foot fixer. They have good bone and added body length as well. When you analyze Visionary, he is a fine specimen and knows it. I believe he will one up his sire Double Vision when history settles. Same type of cattle, just a little more power and growth. Herd sire!
