I am sure many are wondering or question the change of date for the sale. Well in the correctional and penile system in Canada 33 years is a life sentence and we are paroling it trying to escape nasty weather. (Hopefully) The livestock business is at unprecedented levels, finally where it needs to be. The industry has been riding a darn good horse this last year, showing no signs of being winded.

To unveil the sale offering this year we are offering a set of select quality bulls in both Angus and Simmental divisions. These bulls are certain to enhance any program. Some new genetics and the tried and true. The female divisions are stout and quality deep and without doubt some interesting breeding pieces that will be competitive on the tan bark or front pasture.

Bull Development Program Bulls are developed on high roughage ration in large acres to ensure their freedom is not compromised result in sound herd bulls. Our goal is to engineer bulls that are athletic, sound, and ready to work in any commercial environment.

Early Sunset Bull Guarantee

BI is once again pleased to be working with Jim & Peggy Grant from Early Sunset Ranch in their Annual Bull & Female Sale. The sale title is “Only The Good Ones Sell” and it is true at their place and no exception this year.

The bulls this year are from various sires, Xcaliber 32X, Musgrave Boulder and Bando 104Y. Again most of these sires group are new for their great customer base.

The Simmental/Angus division has sure been well accepted at Early Sunset and will continue as Jim does go out and get the top end semen from the United States.

Wagr Driver and High Voltage to name a couple. This is a great set of bulls this year from top to bottom.

The females selected for this year’s sale come right off the top of the Early Sunset program and when visiting with Jim, they are just hard to part with. The opportunity To obtain top end genetics from a progressive breeder like Early Sunset is one that should not be taken lightly.

He has taken some of the paternal sisters across the line and had wonderful success marketing them. His program continues to grow very rapidly and the progeny on display this year will impress all.

Early Sunset guarantees to provide you with a sound, fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. Should your Early Sunset bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit will be given towards the purchase of another Early Sunset bull. If you have a problem with our bull please notify us immediately.

Early Sunset $2 Dollar/Day From May 1 we will charge $2 per/day for keeping your bull for a reasonable length of time. We will keep your bulls under good management and care, developing them as we do our own breeding stock. If your bull(s) are left in our care and management we require you insure them against death.

BULL WARRANTY We guarantee to provide you with a sound, fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. In the event that your bull is a nonsatisfactory breeder the seller will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for more than the original selling price of any bull or female sold in the sale. The consignors will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismanagement. Therefore we stress the importance of insurance on your bull. An insurance agent will be available on sale day.
