As I write this welcome, I can’t help but to look up at the pictures on the wall and reflect on what Duralta started out as and what it has become today. FAMILY is a big word around here, from my grandfather to my mom and dad, uncles and aunts, brothers and their families and finally to my wife and kids, you make this place flourish. Well, 2020 sure has been one interesting year to say the least with lots of events that have made it exciting here at Duralta. The biggest thing was Dalton marrying an incredibly beautiful and energetic lady named Tanya on June 13, 2020, and she sure has put a spark in the operation. With this being said watch for more exciting things in the future to come. Honesty and Integrity are two big words we take to heart around here. Integrity It is our quest to raise Angus cattle both Black and Red that will calve, perform and have that maternal instinct that the Angus breed strives for. The stock must walk on a strong sound foot, must be able to convert feed into a long, muscular body and be able to milk and raise a calf every year that they are in production; which means the bulls and females must be fertile. Also, we need to produce a product that the consumer must enjoy eating. Honesty Honesty must come within ourselves. We will try to describe these cattle with the best of our ability. The only person you fool in the end is you. We are very proud of the quality of bulls available on March 19th. Feel free to call and view the bulls and the cow herd any time.

Two Year Old Angus Bulls This set of two-year-old bulls are April/May born bulls. These bulls have been managed with the idea of having high end quality two-year olds to be able to service more cows and heifers. These bulls have been ran on grass all summer and put on feed in late October. These bulls are all sound footed (feet have not been trimmed), long bodied, hairy and can really get out and move. “NOTE” three of these bulls were raised at Duralta Farms and the other five were raised by our niece and nephew; Braden and Bailey Durie.
